If you are a nurse, or a future nurse, is your spouse/significant other in law enforcement?

Just curious to see if this is a legit pattern or if I've just been noticing it more lately.

I am a nurse with a law enforcement spouse.

Specializes in Med nurse in med-surg., float, HH, and PDN.

When I lived in Gnashville, TN. I found a guy trying to climb in my kitchen window late one night. I had no phone at the time and had to go to the 7-11 to call the cops. When they arrived and searched the apt and the alley and outbuildings/sheds they found no one. But one of the officers was 'nice' enough to tell me he got off duty in a couple of hours, and then invited me to spend the night at his place, where he had a brand new stereo sound-system. I wasn't too impressed; I thought it was pretty declasse of him, and very inappropriate, too. I often wondered what he would have done if Id said "OK!"?

Your story reminded me of this -

Dear Creepers, Here's A Guide Of Things Women Will Never Say To You

My "significant other" (who came up with that cliche?) is happily retired from Astronomy; my insignificant other is a CPA. ;)

Yup, I'm an LPN and my fiance is a peace officer for the SPCA.

I'm single, but I guess that's not an option.

Yes, my hubby is a LEO and a gorgeous one at that!

Oooh, if that would have happened to me when I was young and single, I would have taken him up on his offer if he was cute! I would just make sure to let a close friend (or two) know where I was. ;)

Nearly 200 responses, and 41.8%! That's pretty wild.

My husband is into computer animation, game design, and web design.

The nurses I knew dated other nurses for the most part. I have seen a male rn married to a fitness coach and one of my friends is a rn who recently broke up with her military bf.

No, my husband is in the oil field. I guess where I live it's common.

I have an oil field husband too. Poor guy works worse hours than I do.

No but two exes were and I was crazy for them both. Thankfully I didn't marry either of them.

I know, it's terrible!!!!! He's gone for 2 weeks & then is on 24 hour call. I don't know how he does it.
