Oprah thanked nurses on her show today. She took all the nurses from the Chicago Pediatric Oncology unit to a spa and had them on her show.

I think it was only the 5-6 who took care of one particular child who had leukemia. It wasnt every nurse on the unit.

Well she took 8 nurses.. I don't know how they chose who got to go. And I don't know who took care of the kids.

She did do a blurb on how valuable nurses are, how little they make to do what they do, and she saluted all nurses in the country. She went on to say that she got millions of emails about nurses, from people who were touched by them in some way. It was very touching, really.

Yeah, I almost cried when they showed that poor little boy. It made me want to be a peds nurse...almost!! :)
