NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

USCIS receipt : April 2004

Processing Center : Vermont

I-140 approved : October 2004

NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Visa received : ???

Date of entry in the US :???

GC receive : ????

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.

God bless!

Hi, I don't have my visa yet. yes, we are affected by retro. what's your PD? my PD is april 2006. Lets not lose our hopes, I know a bright future is waiting ahead of us...God bless...

Hi monroe 77.My PD is March 2004.

Hi, good to be back in the forum...Anybody here whose PD is January 2007?...Have you already received a Notice of Approval? To what extent of processing are your papers now that we are in the 3rd quarter of the year? Appreciate your replies.

We have a separate thread specifically for tracking Notice of Approvals from each USCIS Service Center handling it (Texas and Nebraska SC).

You may refer to it (use the search option found on the upper right portion of the web page) and post your PD there as well to help track the current details.

Texas SC is currently still relatively faster vs. Nebraska SC, even though it has considerably slowed down starting cases filed on the 2nd half of Nov. 2006.

There is nothing new about the new visa bulletin. Let's just hope on a new legislation to be discuss on the Capitol Hill. The American Immigration Law is obsolete. It was designed for the 90's, globalization wasn't famous then. A change is a must at this time because this is an era of many possibilities with multi polar competitions among Ist world countries.

US still has a limit on the number of green cards that it will issue per year and this has not changed, and will not change. There are more applicants from several countries than there will be visas available for them. There are less than 10,000 visas per year from anyone country, and many more than that are already waiting. There is no guarantee that everyone will get a green card for the US if they pass the NCLEX-RN, just is not going to happen for all anymore. And expect things to get tighter, not easier.

too bad for the Oct VB. Think we won't be having a white christmas this year AGAIN!!!... planning to consider my other option to work frst in other country like Dubai and wait there til my turn comes for the embassy interview.

My agent recieved my fee bill in the mid of july and then sent a request to add my spuse to the fee bill. We just recieved a letter in the 2nd week of Sept stating that NVC has updated my information in their computer and my spouse has been added.

My questions are

Should I expect a seperate feel bill for my spuse?

Should I pay my fee now or wait till my PD gets current?

If i pay the fee now, will my case proceed to packet 3?

I appriciate all your information and experience that you share in these forums.

You should pay all your visa fee bills now. Ask your lawyer about it. She should be on top of this. They actually ask for the visa fee bill first before they do anything; as with any other applications in the world. No one will do anything until the fee is paid for first.

Once you have paid the visa fee bills, NVC will ask for your DS-230 forms then they will hold it until visa numbers are available again.

However, the way you gave your story- would mean that they already have your DS-230 forms because they updated it. Which means they already have your DS-230 forms (visa application-biographic forms) and w/c also means the fee bill has been paid for already (at least yours that is). You should ask your lawyer about paying your husband's fee bill - she may have paid for it already on your behalf and therefore you may owe her the extra fee bill.

Thanks for your reply

No I havent sent any Fee or DS-230 yet. All I have received is my Fee Bill and upon request a letter from NVC saying that my spouse has been added to my case. Should I now wait for my spouse's fee bill? or pay my fee bill? According to my agent I shouldnt do anything yet. and wait for my PD to become current (if it ever will) and then proceed with rest of the NVC processing.

Have a blessed day.

If NVC are requesting fee bill then I would recommend paying it and same for your spouse

hey guys!

there's some new development regarding a bridge amendment for RNs. Just thought I'd keep this thread alive once again.

some news about the amendment here: http://hammondlawgroup.blogspot.com/...labor-hhs.html

seems like it passed the first hurdle. now, let's hope and pray it will survive the conference and the expected presidential veto in the end. a training fee of 1,500usd will be added to our expenses but it's better than nothing. let's pray guys! :-) God bless to all of us.

The training fee is actually for the employers to pay if they want to petition a foreign nurse and if they are going to use the visas from this batch of recaptured visas. But these are details that may change overtime. Impt. thing is the actual recapture has been included to the parent bill and hope that the parent bill doesn't get vetoed at the end. The veto pen has been active lately.
