Nclex (endorse) Reciprocate..which state?
I took NCLEX 6years ago. Didnt request CaBORN to forward my NCLEX result to any state before the 3-year period expired. Will CABORN still process it if I request it now? Willing to pay US$60 for the service, but I want to make sure that's it is still possible. If so, what state can I apply that allows license renewal even without SSN? No plan of pursuing my dream to work in US as an RN. I just need the USRN license to work locally. Thanks for the advice. @kimmymik and mauee, I believe we are on the same boat. So did CaBORN approve of your request even your file has been destroyed/abandoned, as they say?

New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand
i attended the said seminar in renaissance last sunday. from what i understand, au$7,000 includes qnc registration fee, cas review and exam fee and guaranteed employment by nts. it's more expensive than doing it on our own, but we are guaranteed of employment once we passed cas. although they failed to elaborate more on how the employment contract will be (duration, salary per hour, etc), i think we can ask the manila office more about this. i will be going there tom after attending the seminar of an australian consultancy which offers same. i want to compare what both are offering.

Florida or California?
hi, suzanne!...i just want to know how can I ask CA to forward my NCLEX passing score to CNMI. I already applied for a license for examination in CNMI and my documents were already reviewed. I visited Cali-BON website, but cant find any info about it. I sent them an email asking what are the procedures and fees that I have to pay for them to do such, but no reply. I would appreciate it very much if you could give me some info. Thanx!

eligibility letter
Hi dzzy21RN!...all eligibilities are valid for 1 year...it means that you have 1 year to sked and sit for the exam...on the other hand, ATT validity depends on the BON that you applied licensure for...some gives applicants only 3months to sit for the exam...others, 6mos or even 1 year (like California BON)...so, in short, both eligibility and ATT for California has 1 year validity... Yes, you can defer registering with PearsonVue even after you receive the eligibility from Cali BON...but you have to register with them before your eligibility expires or else, you have to reapply (another $107)...once you have enough funds to sustain you for the whole process, that is, pearson reg. fee of $200, (+ $150 if HK test site), travel pkg (HK costs roughly $350 while Saipan pkg costs $650), pocketmoney AND you are almost prepared to take the exam, i suggest do register....even after registering and receipt of your ATT, you have another 1 year to sit for the exam...

eligibility letter
hi!...once you registered with PearsonVue, that is paid the US$200 fee, your ATT will be sent via email (if you provide them one)...or else, you have to wait weeks before you receive it via snail mail...even Cali-BON ATT is valid for 1 year, i suggest that do register with pearson now...the latest available sked for HK is May 13,19,21,22,26,28 and 30 (as of 12nn today, MNL time)...you still have 3 months if you study full-time...then, you can always resked it if you feel that you need more time...but, dont wait until the ATT expiry to resked the exam...you never know what will come up (like typhoon)...

help 5 days to go before nclex
dont be scared. if you studied very well like you said, you have gained knowledge more than you know. i definitely advise you to sit for the exam next week. but if you want a finale reviewer, you can buy nclex-rn exam cram book 1,250 practice questions. costs php250 with cd in national bookstore. i suggest reading the book cover-to-cover and not use the cd at all bec it is not user-friendly. if you will take exam in saipan, you can bring it and finish it before your exam date. anyway, you still have 5days to go. you can finish it before then. im recommending it based on experience. im a first-time taker and my pc stopped at 75. without it, im sure i could have finished all 265 and not sure if i passed or failed. hope this info helps you. gudluck!
