hello! :) i want to ask your thoughts regarding healthcare aide and practical nursing(in canada under student visa) im a registered nurse in asia since 2009. had 2 years hospital experience. i desire to take up practical nursing program since it has a job opportunity(most likely) but i find healthcare assistant certificate not so expensive plus it's a medical related job. but does it have a career opportunity after graduation? is it worth it? it have no problem being a healthcare assistant(from being a nurse) please i need your advice..thank you very much :)

which state is better? illinois or michigan?

hi silverdragon, im planning to endorse my license (license by exam(nclex)) either in michigan or illinois. which of these two states would you advice? i passed nclex and cgfns (ielts too). I've never worked in any state in america. I just want my nclex to still be active since it is one of the requirement in Cayman island. thank you so much!

im planning to work in cayman island. nclex passer is one of the req. unfortunately, it was expired last february. i just want to reciprocate it for the sake of " cayman requirement".. is there a diifference between reciprocate and endorse? thank you so much

I passed nclex California and it is already expired last February2012. I'm planning to endorse my license: NEW YORK, ILLINOIS, OREGON OR TEXAS which state do you think it is easier and cheaper to endorse? thank you so much!

(first of all im sorry for posting it here, i needed your thoughts to enlighten me in someways) im a registered nurse with 2years hosp experience. and as far as 2011 canada immigration point system is concerned, i am qualified or i've met the required score of point system (federal skilled worker). for the past few months, ive been completing my documents for canada immigration. i am aware that there will be changes in point system this july. little did we all know, citizenship and immigration canada will place a temporary pause on new applications to the federal skilled worker program (fswp) and federal immigrant investor program (iip).effective july 1st, 2012, new applications will be accepted in january 2013 in time with the implementation of theproposed changes in the points system and other improvements in canada's immigrationprogram. the temporary pause on fswp applications does not apply to candidates with offers of arranged employment or those applying under the phd eligibility stream. the full set of ministerial instructions will be available online in the canada gazette tomorrow what should i do now? the least thing i could do is wait for jan2013. im thinking of provincial nominee in british columbia but i dunno how or tourist visa- but im not so sure about it. i dont have any arranged employment to qualify despite of new point system. please help me, or share your opinions. thank you very much!

im currently working abroad as a nurse. my co-nurses & i have different nationality. We have our own language but we use english. Most of the time, i am the only one in my race to be working in the ward(5nurses plus this head nurse) ok here's my complains -she's discussing patient care to nurses using their own language. i dont understand what theyre saying. it's about the patient, i should know it as well , right?! -she writes EVERYTHING in endorsement logbook, and use that as an excuse not to endorse it verbally and not to communicate with us at all. -whenever there's misunderstanding, she immediately go to chief nurse and tell everything about the conflict. why not talk to us first and solve it ourselves? -(im assigned on night shift whereas she's on morning shift): the nurses station's a mess! incomplete medicines, disorganized med tray etc... -she's not accompanying the doctor during rounds. she expects us to do everything -she's rude.she's commanding as if we are her servants im not actually the only one who noticed her nasty behavior. at least 20 nurses. i already confronted her, but she took it in a bad way. My license is at stake here. Im thinking of telling it over the nurses meeting, but im afraid it will not turn out the way it supposed to be. and the worst part of it, she might pick on me everytime we're on the same ward, she might ridicule me, tease me.. Is it better if i file a complain? plan a : tell it over the meeting without any letter of complain plan b : tell it over the meeting with a letter of complain plan c : letter of complain only plan d : help me thank you

" it is my understanding that your nclex result does not expire but at the 3 year mark is when ca will destroy your application file. but still i wouldn't wait to transfer the results in case the rules change." so u mean to say its okay to have my nclex result transferred even after its expiry date?(feb 2012) . but much better if i still process it now even before there's sudden changes. is that what u meant? im sorry, i just want to make sure because i dont want to be fined for late documents. but im planning to transfer it on march 2012. thank u so much by the way, ces also costs a bit expensive.. about $300 then the vermont fee $150...i guess i have to work double time for that reason.

actually I'm from Philippines, so aside from $150, there will be additional charges. Im supposed to endorsed it through an nclex application center here in our country and it will cost $800 in total. Is it going to be easier if i'll do it myself? Feb12,2012 is the expiry date, im afraid i wont be able to process it at exact date, will there be any additional charge for late documents? thank u ver much

hello guys. I passed nclex California and its about to expire this February. Im planning to endorse my license to Vermont(since its one of the state im eligible to reciprocate it), but after learning that it costs less than $800, it's a bit expensive. Could you please tell me the benefits of endorsing the license to other state? Is it going to be a big deal if i don't endorse it for 1year? thank you very much hoping for your response and help.
