This tops any resignation I received when manager.

What elkpark said is correct - "media reports" often don't contain the entire story. The media reports about WSH are a bit overblown, and everyone seems to be piling on. Sara just wanted her two minutes of fame.
Two minutes of fame, but many more of "flame"...

Just looked her up on the WA State Provider search. She is an RN, first issue date 11/17/2015, she was born in 1983, she should know better than this foolishness at her age.

Well, it WAS written. I don't think many employers have had reason to clarify "not edible" on their notice requirements xD
My concerns are that she did not clarify whether resignation was immediate or if there would be an end date, and the fact that her writing is terrible. And not even so much as an icing pill or stethoscope? I would've made a much prettier I Quit Cake

I was born a dozen years before her, and I've quit via email before. Not that big of a deal. Great bosses get lots of notice & help with transitions, bad ones get whatever is convenient.

I'm going to go out on another limb and guess that, based on the "I QUIT" with multiple exclamation points, and "OFFICIAL NOTICE" with the date, her intention was to resign without notice ... ?
QuoteI would have picked out a better decorator. The cake decorators at my local grocery chain are better than the ones at Walmart apparently.
I think she probably bought a blank cake and (tried to) pipe the words herself. The rosettes and the airbrushing look reasonably well done...the letters are abysmal. I have seen blank cakes for sale at Target, though; they have frosting and a border, but nothing else. Don't ask me why...if someone wants to decorate their own cake, the border is the easy part.
