So my first semester is oficially over. I know I am going to go though some withdrawal. I am already thinking ahead to next semester. Now that this semester is over, what do you plan to do different/better next semester?

Me:

I plan to study even harder than I did this semester

I plan be more organized

I plan to be more outgoing and make some good friends

Study harder & be more organized! Also try not to procrastinate!

I'm going to do everything I did last semester... except more frequently ! Last semester I did the following:

Read the readings before the next class

Complete all objectives before the class

Record notes on recorder

Record power points on digital recorder and listen to them

Review over powerpoints over and over and over again

Study with my study group

Answer about 400 questions before each exam.

So far this has worked for me. Got some A's, got some B's Haven't came across c's yet. So I must be doing something right !

Balance time with school work and fiance..realllllllllllly put a damper on my relationship this semester :[

I will work even harder to succeed. I will be more organized and read well ahead of time.

more time management

no procrastination

study harder

I REALLY need to fit in some "fitness" time both physically & mentally...I feel like I have aged 10 yrs and I KNOW I have gained 15 lbs from the stress and all those pit stops for coffee and fast food.

On the academic front...study at least a 1/2 hr every day and do lots of NCLEX ?s.

Specializes in Emergency Medicine, Psychiatric Crisis.

Study in the library more often:)

Great thread .... just finished my last final today and already I'm thinking about next semester!

Some things I would do differently:

1. Take my own notes from the text BEFORE the lecture - that way I know what to concentrate on as the teacher lectures

2. Study/review my notes at least once a day that way the information will be easy to recall ... also allow me the time to spend on subject areas that I didn't fully understand the first time around

(I'm hoping this will decrease study time and the stressing that comes along with it)

3. Record class and listen to it the next day and revamp notes

4. Time management!! If I could just review everything a little each day, preparing for the next class would be a breeze.

I plan on asking the cute girl out
