  1. Do you have a degree already in something else? Just curious...I have a BS in Public Health/Community Health Ed. and couldn't get a job...so I am going for my RN. The other option is going all the way for your Masters in Public Health. But I do agree w/everyone who said ou made the right decision following your gut. Good luck!!!
  2. I have heard that med-surg is the toughest of all of the topics in NS, any truth to this?
  3. I'm not excited yet, but I did look at me med-surg book today..for 5 minutes LOL. I still need some "healing time". Last semester was BRUTAL with 3 kids (13, 7 & 3) and working 25 hrs/wk. I really enjoyed the school part of it, but everything together really took its toll. I am planning to doing a few things differently to make life easier ie I already started freezing meals, and just keeping up with the readings better AND eating better and finding a new stress reliever. LOL. any ideas?
  4. I REALLY need to fit in some "fitness" time both physically & mentally...I feel like I have aged 10 yrs and I KNOW I have gained 15 lbs from the stress and all those pit stops for coffee and fast food. On the academic front...study at least a 1/2 hr every day and do lots of NCLEX ?s.
  5. I start in 2 weeks and will graduate May 2010. I'm soo excited, but very nervous.
