Well my time here is done and really, I should move on. I graduated last week, got my ATT on Friday and I took my NCLEX today. But this section has been my home for so long I just can't find it in me to leave and move on to the general nursing forum as my new home. So I shall stay here!!! I am so excited for all the new students coming over, those that will be graduating this upcoming year, and those that will soon become official nurses after their NCLEX as well!!!
Now dust that resume off and start applying!
Well apparently it's different for the RN because my Lic. was just posted on the states website with my Lic. Number. I don't even have the option to buy the quick results until tomorrow. LOL Oh well, works for me, now I can start applying. Here they don't want you applying until you have your Lic. Issued.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! I graduated Friday and am SO jealous that you have taken NCLEX so fast. Our state is pretty slow and we were told 3-8 weeks till we will even get our ATT. Can't wait to be legal. ;-)
Yea reading some of these posts on AN I have realized that I am very fortunate the way our school does it! I ran into a few other students at the testing center from another school and they said they graduated in March, they were just finally able to test! I am really impressed too that my Lic number and verification is already posted on the state website. Saves me the 8 dollars for the quick results tomorrow since I already have that. lol My classmates have to wait until May 31st so I have already gotten a few calls from them.
Congratulations!!!!! I'm just about to start my nursing classes and in the fall, your success gives me hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for sharing!
Look at that light and have that keep you going, give you the motivation when things get tough and remember how excited you were in the beginning and KEEP THAT. Don't let yourself fall into the negativity and complainers and whiners you will see.
Congratulations!

You should stay here and there (hey wait a second -where the **** am I anyway??)
You have a real gift for communicating with people -- so when you would venture into general nursing as a student I always felt you added to our discussions. I think you can be a really great resource - just as Daytonite was - now mind you I am not comparing or wanting you to say "Oh, gee thanks! Compare me to a saint why don't cha?"
I think you know what I mean. In a way we're always students, anyway. Congrats on your graduation !!
