New Mexico Licensure Question

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!

from what my cousin told me it to email them till you get a reply, her friends got their packet 1-2weeks from requesting them. I'll notify in case I do receive them. ^_^

I requested for a fingerprint card about 3 weeks ago still havent received one, the fingerprint cards from CA, I got it for only 2 weeks waiting time. How long is the normal waiting time for the NM fingerprint cards? Is there other way of acquiring it aside from emailing them?

Sure you can apply, but you are going to have issues with CGFNS releasing the CVS. There is no license to verify, yet you took the exam. The PRC is unable to verify that you passed to any outside agency............my suggestion, and one that I keep msaking over and over again. Take the exam in December, and then go on with your life. There is also a retrogression going into effect, so you will have time to get things done right and properly the first time.

well, just would like to share some updates on my side. i'm of course a recent graduate and also a passer of the cursed 2006 nle. but to set things straight, i am for retake if compelled to. only, the way things go it seems like waiting for more of the same will just not really do anything. i just want to take and finish the nclex and licensure requirement so that i could go on.

have some questions.. from the time NM BON received your application, how long did you wait for your eligibility? like sakuji, i already got an advice from ms. vidaurri to send my application and payment as they've evaluated my credentials to have met board requirements. also, when is the right time to register with pearsonvue (as i was also advised to register and pay)? thanks in advance for your reply.

When the BON tells you that you are eligible and can register with Pearsonvue and you do so, they could send you your ATT via e-mail the same day (provided all the required documents and fees are already with them; if not, additional three weeks might be needed or they will not process it until you complete what they are asking for). It will be good for three months and you would have to schedule and choose a place for your exam (you can do this online too) within the dates that they indicated in your ATT.

bebe,

August 28 = school sent TOR AND RLE

August 30 = Bon received my credentials

September 13 = I sent my application

September 16 = Bon received my application

September 28 = Received my eligibility via email.

I think you have one year to register in pearson but once you are registered you have to take the exam within 90 days time or else.. you are dead, I mean you have to reapply again :p

I am postponing my registration because of the issue here. If there is a clear stand of what will happen then I will register.
