i received this email from a friend it is with great pride and honor to announce to you all that the newly elected president of the national council of state board of nursing is faith fields, the current executive director of arkansas state board of nursing. miss fields is from little rock, a friend and a former colleagueof dr. morris. they both have served in the arkansas state board of nursing a while back. i have clarified some questions with her on our telephone conversation: 1. there was a note on the online forum that the president of ncsbn is notcoming to the philippines because of the nursing leakage. answer: this is not a true statement because she will be coming to thephilippines in october to address the pna as a key note speaker. 2. i asked her what is her stand on the nursing leakage as an executivedirector of arkansas state board and as president of ncsbn. answer: from arkansas state board of nursing, when a june 2006 exam passerapplies to arkansas, the applicant will not have any problem with their application, unless the applicant came from the identified area where thenursing leakage took place, for example baguio. the application process might take longer because they have to investigate whether that personbenefited from the leak. this means a delay on the application, but does not mean a denial of application for the nursing licensure or nclex exam. from the ncsbn standpoint: faith fields said she cannot officiallyrepresent the organization, but the most she commented was, the councildoes not really have a stand whether it is for a retake or not. accordingto her, she is waiting for the philippines due process of law, andwhatever is the outcome, the ncsbn will honor.i think this is a faircomment.thus, whatever comments made by deans, or the public officials saying that ncsbn wants a retake is not true. 3. i also learned from miss fields that a big hospital in little rock, had recently started hiring from the philippines. this is good news contraryto what i told you because, hospitals had refused to hire nurses because of bad experience in the past. well, my point is, it is a blessing for arkansas hospitals to open its door of opportunities to nurses from the philippines. pls. be careful with some of the comments and recommendations posted onthe online forum. you might be misled with some false information and unwarranted suggestions. hope you understand how the boardpassers of 2006 batch feel ..they have suffered for so long. .we dont want to happen this sleepless nights and anxiety to others . ..so hope you understand how we feel . .its easy to say for a retake on your part because you dont feel how a victim of this issue felt . those news you have read in the newspaper are baseless and are just hearsay witohut proof! its so easy to invent news which is bias and baseless, so its better to hear news from the credible ones! like mis faith . .you heard it from the horse mouth . . im not criticizing nor offending anybody, im just trying to correct things to stop rumors about the state of arkansas which is being used to discriminate the batch of 2006! and cgfns never said that they will not allow our batch take the exam, its so unfair making such statement that will destroy your fellow nurses, all what cgfns want us to have before allowing to take the exam is our license, so if we already have our licenses we will be accepted by cgfns whether we retake or not. and ofcourse we know about vsc, ofcourse we will not apply vsc without local license because it is needed but once our licences are granted we can apply anytime. lets just leave hearsay ...as hearsay and speculation..as speculation...lets move on why are they punishing the innocent? has the world gone so mad that is how it works? it is so easy for them to tell us to retake the exam because they were not the ones that prepared for and took it! we are not sacrificial lambs. we are nurses with hearts full of compassion to serve humanity, and minds that know what is wrong and what is not...from a fellow b.passer thank you and peace to you all !!!!! lets wish everyone good luck rather than putting them down ... we are all nurses and we are all children of god. carpe diem!!!!!

what i know about arkansas. is that arkansas board of nursing was no longer accepting filipino nurses way way back, because of tha bad reputation of some nurses before, because they are not following what is on the contract . . ..so it is not true that arkansas is not accepting because of the nursing licensure exam issue, it has nothing to do with it! as a matter of fact i received an email::::: 3. i also learned from miss fields that a big hospital in little rock, hadrecently started hiring from the philippines. this is good news contraryto what i told you because, hospitals had refused to hire nurses becauseof bad experience in the past. well, my point is, it is a blessing forarkansas hospitals to open its door of opportunities to nurses from thephilippines.so thats very clear, that all the rumors about arkansas as said by some are false

:welcome: it would be unfair for us who made it without the leakage . . .and wat i know u still need to have a 75% to pass, so i guess the leakage cant assure u of passing the board. . i admit im not that intelligent but still i made it because i studied hard and prayed so much to pass the nle. . i need 2 pass in order for me 2 help my family (who dont need 2 pass by the way? i hope nobdy) . . ... . so lets just unite and oppose that retake and help each other as [color=olive]professional rn, :caduceus: registered nurse, :caduceus: responsible nurse, :caduceus: respected nurse,:caduceus: reliable nurse and most of all:caduceus: religious nurse:saint: !!!! lets stop opposing each other !!! peace 2 ol!!

hi kathykaye . :welcome: . yeah ur ryt its not a gud attitude bec i never offended others. ..u just mis understood evrything . . . .1st of all i never said anything abt failed examinees coz i understand der situation . .hope u read carefully wats in da message . . im refering 2 da news last aug 8 and it has nothing 2 do wid failed examinees bec i never wanted 2 offed dem coz i know der ctuation . .n fact i cant celebrate coz most of my frens wer not dat lucky ! ! ! and im refering it 2 dose seeking not for justice but for pride bec dey wer not seeking for truth but nstead dey wer not among da topnatcher!!!! i suggest u watch dat news last tue . . u know wat i can even swear 2 God dat i passed bec i did my best and i passed without any leakage!! im not dat intelligent and 100% sure dat i can make it agen . . dats y im not for retake . ..i gues we hav r own opinion...but please understand evrything first b4 freaking out!!!

u know wat guys i was also shocked wid da news in bandila . . . . it ws rili bias 4 us!!!! we did r best and we studied hard! correct me if im wrong, dey said dat almost ol of da 17,821 agreed 2 hav da retake . .oh common only dat ust student wanted 2 hav dat retake and his no longer after da leakage but of his pride and his skuls pride. .de just cant accept der defeat!! but he even try 2 dare us ol . .. only i in million boardpassers wanted 2 retake dat stressful days!!!! i used 2 watch news in abs but now i rader prefer watching news in gma7 bec dey r fair and square!!! i do agree. . .i also passed da nle2006 wid out any leakage . . . know wat guys i watched bandila last nyt and i was shocked . . wat dey aired r just those who can not accept that they were not among the topnatchers and that their skul s not in included in the top ranking . . oh common der no longer after the leakage but der after der defeat!!!! and 2 bandila dey wer bias in reporting dey did not get r side . .correct me f im wrong dey said dat almost all of the 17,821 who passed want 2 hav a retake and dat a strong pa-cbilty dat der wil b a retake !!!and i totally disagree wid dat!! gud thing wen i turned it 2 saksi wat dey reported was de ader way round and dey just reported wat rili hapen in da senate hearing wid both side fair nd square!!!!
