  1. hi. don't loose hope. it's your career and it's your path you are taking. there will be a lot of hindrance along the way but then if you are meant to care or to serve then nursing is definietly for you. in the country, there are struggles in wages and all sort but not for all. if you really wanted nursing then i don't see any reason why change course.
  2. i think there's no such thing as a faster processing depending on what state like in the u.s. you have to decide first where you want to stay and work or do your bridging course.
  3. omg! this is a bit scary... cultural differences really sucks at times but nurses should really be aware and well oriented to the culture they are applying to... i hope she will be release soon...
  4. hi. i have read your post and i feel bad reading it. i know your efforts and concerns of having a brighter future for your family plus the efforts you exerted but i suggest a second thought on the matter. at times i am too glared with the offers of immediate hiring on these and there but you are a registered nurse and nclex passer on hte matter. why setlle to become a caregiver if you can settle for something more for sure it will take time and there will be agony on waiting but be patient, harvest time will also arrive.. just my pov
  5. i agree with rnhawaii34. it guess it is better if you look for other hospitals who will train you as a staff nurse and pay you as well... i know you already enjoyed your training but be practical as well...
  6. the exam was quite tricky... you wouldn't really know what will come up...
  7. IVT for local is not offered for those without license so if you want to attend seminars for the mean time you are waiting for the results of the local board you may do so... try to inquire to local hospitals near your place and at the same time try to contact philippine national red cross. :) for first aid and basic life support trainings :)
  8. i am a retaker of all as well and the exam is so basic and yet so tricky... tsk3!
  9. i won't advise any review center for the NLE this time since most of the questions just popped out and not usually lectured, i'm not just sure if the trends of the test will be the same with december. god bless
  10. yep... i totally agree with what you have posted... :)
  11. for me i opt for government hospitals for experience especially those like heart, lung, pgh and the like. besides the good training the patients are patients and kind unlike in private hospitals... hahaha... just my opinion :)
  12. just email it for quicker and easier results... ciao!:)
  13. thanks for the enlightenment lawrence! god bless
