  1. hi. don't loose hope. it's your career and it's your path you are taking. there will be a lot of hindrance along the way but then if you are meant to care or to serve then nursing is definietly for you. in the country, there are struggles in wages and all sort but not for all. if you really wanted nursing then i don't see any reason why change course.
  2. i think there's no such thing as a faster processing depending on what state like in the u.s. you have to decide first where you want to stay and work or do your bridging course.
  3. omg! this is a bit scary... cultural differences really sucks at times but nurses should really be aware and well oriented to the culture they are applying to... i hope she will be release soon...
  4. hi. i have read your post and i feel bad reading it. i know your efforts and concerns of having a brighter future for your family plus the efforts you exerted but i suggest a second thought on the matter. at times i am too glared with the offers of immediate hiring on these and there but you are a registered nurse and nclex passer on hte matter. why setlle to become a caregiver if you can settle for something more for sure it will take time and there will be agony on waiting but be patient, harvest time will also arrive.. just my pov
  5. i agree with rnhawaii34. it guess it is better if you look for other hospitals who will train you as a staff nurse and pay you as well... i know you already enjoyed your training but be practical as well...
  6. the exam was quite tricky... you wouldn't really know what will come up...
  7. IVT for local is not offered for those without license so if you want to attend seminars for the mean time you are waiting for the results of the local board you may do so... try to inquire to local hospitals near your place and at the same time try to contact philippine national red cross. :) for first aid and basic life support trainings :)
  8. i am a retaker of all as well and the exam is so basic and yet so tricky... tsk3!
  9. i won't advise any review center for the NLE this time since most of the questions just popped out and not usually lectured, i'm not just sure if the trends of the test will be the same with december. god bless
  10. yep... i totally agree with what you have posted... :)
  11. for me i opt for government hospitals for experience especially those like heart, lung, pgh and the like. besides the good training the patients are patients and kind unlike in private hospitals... hahaha... just my opinion :)
  12. just email it for quicker and easier results... ciao!:)
  13. thanks for the enlightenment lawrence! god bless
  14. i am also a june passer myself and it's really been a painful journey... and there are just so many like me with a lot of sentiments about this struggle we are having right now... i guess this is a call to have our own personal discerment and judgment about what we will do to our lives... these are the circumstances... they have been dictating us back and forth of what to do and have only gottent things worst... for those who wants to have the retake of 3&5, same with the entire exam... i just wish you all the best... and to those who won't... i just also wish you the same... i call on to my batchmates, june 06... to make a stand and decide not on what PRC says, what ANA says, what CGFNS, but of something that will free us totally from this mess... what our heart says... i just hope that we will decide on our own... if we want to hold on to our licenses, give it up or not... this is not the moment for sourgraping because we have been sourgraping and been bitter for the nth time... i've decided to finally retake everything, not because PRC said so, nor the ANA, nor the CGFNS, i am at stake here and it's my life they are messing with so just wish all the luck in my upcoming june board... god bless! :) to those i will please and not... peace :) god bless!
  15. in case they'll be asking for your nclex status i think you should be hoenst about it. as you have said they are quite well aware that nurses here in the phil. come and go... when i applied when asked i honestly mention i do have plans to go abroad so that they will not expect much regarding my stay. and some have mentioned to give me something like a probation of a year... :) so i can go after that... :) ciao!
  16. i think this is a better news for us june 06 than the rest of the posted articles... i hope they can finalize now the procedures for retake because it has been bugging me for a year now... :) good luck to all of those who will retake this june... :)
  17. well good luck to all june 2006 passers... :) we can make it... :)
  18. i'm quite confused with retaking the whole exam and just retaking test 3 & 5... any june passer who can enlighten me on this?
  19. yup i guess as you have said... the decision has been made already and the cgfns had their stand... now it's our turn to make a stand whether the court is against or pro it... because it is our lives their messing up actually... goodluck to all june 2006 passers... god bless us!
  20. i think the u.s. decided already for those who can't decide for themselves like me... i tired of all the issues and i guess it's now time for the retake... not just for pardon or compromise... i just hope the prc will make things better because they are the one who made things worst for all of us!!!
  21. oriezo i think prc dont issue yet the certificate that you are referring... and to the one who asked if there are some descrimination? yes :) i just won't mention the institution...
  22. i asked a friend to pass my resume since im quite far the place and they called imediately. nope i don't have any working experience yet. their requirements are the same with all hospital just add bls and iv training :)
