hi everyone, can someone pls. help me? i was granted eligibility to take the nclex board exams by the nursing board of commonwealth of northern marianas islands. The letter i received was dated august 28, 2006 with no indicated expiry date for the registration. to date, i have not registered with pearson because my father was diagnosed with extensive stage lung cancer and somehow i just had to put my nclex plans on hold. i now wish to pursue my original plan to take the nclex but i am not sure if my eligibility to register with pearson is still valid... also would anyone know how long the att validity for saipan? juliet

hi guys, can you please enlighten me on this subject... my question concerns the visa screen process. from what i've surf from other postings, one of the requirements to obtain the visa screen certificate is to EITHER pass the nclex exams or cgfns exams (besides passing the ielts and undergoing the necessary credentials verification by cgfns). however, i'm confused because a number of people i've talked in the Philippines claim that you need the cgfns certificate if you want an immigrant status ("an nclex per se would only entitle you to a working visa" - they claim). i intend to work either in new york or california (non-cgfns states). what's the real score with the regards to this? do i really need to get a cgfns certificate to satisfy the immigration requirement?

hi! can anyone please advice me? i'm interested to take the nclex in hongkong. how do you check the nclex slots availability in hongkong? is there a website? my application was already approved by the board where i applied. However, i decided to temporarily defer registration because i'm not yet prepared to take the exam that soon considering once you are registered you have to take it within the prescribed validity date in the att. also, would anyone know what would are the time schedules to choose from in hongkong. i understand they give the exams twice in a day seven days a week.

hi guys, i need advice. i am based in the philippines but i want to work in new york someday. i read from the other threads that it would take some time to apply for initial licensure via new york. What would be the best way to get there? would applying via other states like new mexico for initial licensure then applying for licensure endorsement to new york save time? would appreciate any inputs you may have.

i have been silent about this issue for quite sometime hoping it would resolve itself in time... i'm wrong. it seems we are nowhere near resolving this issue and it is really very very frustrating to all of us examiners who passed the exams without benefit of leakage to be compelled to retake it. i come from the visayas region. there was no leakage. as far as i know the leakage occured only in baguio and some areas in manila. does that constitute the majority? i'm for prc to throughly investigate the issue and punish those deserved to be punished. that means revoking the license of those given should it be established they they benefitted from leakage. otherwise it is really unfair to make a sweeping generalization that all those who passed the exams are cheaters.
