New Mexico Licensure Question

Hi everyone. Does anyone know how one should go about applying for the State board in New Mexico? After the school sends the official transcript and after completing the fingerprinting requirements, how long will it take before one could be given an ATT? Thanks and have a nice day!

I bumped the thread by posting the email so that others who are getting depressed or frustrated by whats happening could have some hope by the fact that somehow there is a way to sit for nclex without the prc at this point. Of course to those of us who took the 2006 nle will eventually have the issue about the license once we apply for cgfns, cvs, ces and etc. But- hope against hope- lets us pray that by then the issue about it is resolved either by retake or otherwise.

When the BON tells you that you are eligible and can register with Pearsonvue and you do so, they could send you your ATT via e-mail the same day (provided all the required documents and fees are already with them; if not, additional three weeks might be needed or they will not process it until you complete what they are asking for). It will be good for three months and you would have to schedule and choose a place for your exam (you can do this online too) within the dates that they indicated in your ATT.

Nope. I contacted them once about debit cards as payment form. They replied in the negative.

In addition the mode of payment, as indicated in the packet, are major credit cards (except for the security check fee), cashier's check or money order in US amount payable to NM BON. According to one thread, BPI's cashier's check service may suffice. In my case, I sent my documents to a relative stateside and they bought money order's in my behalf. They were the ones who re- sent my docs to NM BON.

Just the same with Pearson Vue just with a small variance. But just the same, no debit cards.

i want to ask if one may apply for cgfns-ces stating in the form

so this means that i would not need to send in the license validation form which is to be filed from prc?

hi!

according to one post, cgfns issued an statement saying that no cgfns exam, ces, cvs and etc will be issued to those who are involved in the 2006 nle. though personally, i know of a person who applied for ces and was evaluated/ approved despite of the fact that she sat and passed the local boards. but in her case, she applied the ces around april 2006 (prior to the actual exam; no validation from prc) that's why she got around it (and also the att). plus, atleast on my own humble research i have not seen that particular statement of cgfns stating that fact. maybe somebody here who has the link or actual statement could guide into it us or maybe another somebody who took the 2006 boards and applied for cgfns- related document and was approved could tell us his/ her experience.

I used my mom's dollar account in BPI family bank. They issued me a dollar or bank draft. :p I think I will pay pearson using a credit card so I don't have to wait that long.

I don't know any other mode of payment I can use in Pearson other than the credit card -_- Maybe cashier's check and money order will do too? :p

Credit card would be best. You can use your mom's card as well.
