I am new to allnurses and just was curious what everyones usernames mean. I know there are previous thread for this but I figured there have been some username changes and new members since then.
As you can see my username is Flightless and its just short for flightless bird AKA penguin which are my favorite animal lol I had a hard time trying to pick a username that was unique but didn't give me away! Haha!
My user name is based on a Sailboat I lived on while living on a boat in Miami. It was eventually destroyed by hurricane Wilma. I still miss her, and Miami :)

A cat I adopted while in nursing school. A tiny kitten I found in a roadside gutter. Her name wasn't "Guttercat," but she was often referred to as "Guttercat."

I think it's interesting that modern zombies tend to move very quickly. Old school zombies just kind of shuffled along and walked in a straight line.
It probably had to happen, though. Really, how scary is a monster when all you have to do to get away from one is to take two giant steps to either side??

I met my husband through aol when I was 18 (1997). His username was Mrveracity(he still uses it for other things to this date). We both married another and divorced. 7 years ago I became mrsveracity. Veracity means truthfulness [emoji3].
I do a double take every time I see your avatar -- as a 10mm painting on my phone it looks a lot like mine! Maybe it's time to rotate mine...been a while.

At the time, I found it funny that he looks like a mascot for some sort of STD awareness campaign.
