Hey ya'll!
I am new to allnurses and just was curious what everyones usernames mean. I know there are previous thread for this but I figured there have been some username changes and new members since then.
As you can see my username is Flightless and its just short for flightless bird AKA penguin which are my favorite animal lol I had a hard time trying to pick a username that was unique but didn't give me away! Haha!
So lets hear it!
Well, my avatar is of my favorite bird (chkickens) but my avatar specifically is of my chicken who is named Jaja. She is a lovely, massive 8 pound Silver laced Wyandotte who happens to be 7 years old (which is somewhat old for a chicken). Anyway, if you look at the picture of her you can see she is shrouded in sunlight. I KID YOU NOT, nearly every time I look at her in my shaded yard there is always a ray of sunlight on her it is so strange, but lovely. Yeah, I kind of went off about my avatar...you asked about user names! littlelimabean is something my husband calls me. BTW, penguins are fantastic!!
Fellow chicken lover? I've got multiple breeds! Just got 20 salmon faverolles. Recently just sold my mixed roosters (araucana/Polish mix). Also have 25 Cornish x coming soon. Do you raise for eggs, meat, or novelty?
I have always seen myself as a paradox, so FrozenFlame has been my digital identity since I was a teenager in the 90s.
Well......

Yea, I saw that on Star Trek once.
I once saw a poster of an old type smiley face, (before emoticons) that had on big sunglasses, a nurses cap, and one arm with its fingers making the "peace" sign. It also had a speech bubble in which the word "COOL!" was printed.
I'm sort of 'old school' and thought it was "COOL" so, there you go, that's my story.
I came up with my username at the verrrrrrrrrrrrry beginning of my nursing path a couple of years ago. It's a motto for my life and for every step I've taken so far in this journey! That no matter what happens, everything will be ok. It also happens to be one of my favorite hymns
Fun topic idea!

I don't remember. I was probably feeling kooky at the time.
