MDC Spring 2012 :)

Hi guys!

I was hoping to get to know some of the people that will be applying to the Spring 12 nursing program.

I've been following the MDC Fall 2011 =) thread and I'm super excited for them, but now I'm even more excited since this time it's finally me who is applying to the nursing program.

So...who else is applying???? :redbeathe

I just got home from a 12 hour shift and realized that I was accepted for both generic FT at homestead and Transitional FT!! Congrats to everyone who was accepted! Keep your chins up for everyone who was not. I will be declining my seat in the transitional program so there will be one more spot open! Good luck!

Hi Guys, I'm brand new to this blog website, but definitely no stranger to Miami Dade College alumni, professors, and staff.

I applied for the fall term with a score of 3.6 GPA, and TEA's score of 72.8 and unfortunately did not get accepted due to limitations of the class size and huge demand of applicants for that term. However I re-applied this term along to FIU, NOVA, and today has been one of the most fulfilling days ever.

I WAS ACCEPTED TO MIAMI DADE's FT Generic Program at medical campus!!!

I literally died when I saw the email. I called all my nursing friends, and close family members, and let's just say I just finished celebrating for what's going to be a long journey for a lot of us. But I'm thrilled to start, I know many of us, like myself, are as passionate and dedicated to this career and want to start badly and get right to the grind of hard work of a nurse. :nurse:

I would like to say congrats to all of those who received a letter of acceptance. :anpom::yeah::yeah:*wine

and for those still waiting, It's hard (TRUST ME I KNOW), but stay positive, you never know what might happen. :D

Can't wait to start and meet my fellow nursing peers!!:[anb]:

Congrats to all of us who got accepted. It will be very nice that some of us will meet soon!!!

However, for those of you that have not received acceptance letters please don't give up hope yet.

Many of us applied to two programs and got accepted into both (e.i. I got in the p/t & the f/t) and many of us will be declining one of those spots, opening them up for some of you. So please don't be discouraged just yet.

The accepted students must all accept our spots by the 28th, I assume that you guys that are still waiting will here from them shortly after then.

Hang in there guys, everything happens for a reason and it will eventually work out for you too ;).
