I was in what i will call a conference with other colleagues. We were seated (in close proximity) around a oval table, and each had a water bottle. At the end of the meeting, everyone was leaving. i was reaching down to get my bottle of water and realized that there was another like 5 inches away from my water. Maybe its my imagination running away with me, but i may have been drinking up someone elses water bottle without realizing it. Thinking back, the water did seem to have a taste, but i attributed this to the plastic itself. Should i be worried?
I think some of these responses are a bit unkind - but really you are a nurse and should know that the possibility of catching something off someone else's water bottle is slim to none. It doubt it was spiked with anything and quite frankly there are a lot more serious things to worry about. Take a deep breath and relax. You will be fine.

Start putting your name on your bottles.
Or do like we used to back in the day and peel off the label...or part of the label....(but that was beers at parties, however....)
Another thought is to bring your own re-usable bottle. (and to the ice tea drinker of a pp....I am wicked surprised that you coworkers did not bring in for you a re-usable bottle with glitter and stickers and such on it....and your name in shiny paint HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!)
Seriously, Op, going forward just be sure you have a clearly labeled bottle of your own.
