Starting to get a little overwhelmed these days! I am right now doing Suzanne's 2nd tip and scoring in the 80's but still am feeling like there are some loopholes ...i.e areas I seem to be consistently weak at...any words of comfort???

Don't worry, honey. You are one of the most knowledgeable people here. I am more than sure you will do fine. :) *hugs* Just keep doing what you're doing, have faith in God, and you'll see that the results will be what you want them to be.

Hi there,

Its susie496, I will be taking it on March 29th. Good luck to all of us!!!

Hi, I am oadewoye, I will be testing on march 11th. wishing everyone testing the very best.

I have a 2 questions if someone can answer. Being that on April 1 st they are making the exam harder, will the books prior to April 1s be sufficient enough to relay us the necessary info to passs?

And I took my test a few days ago. If you had 203 questions and on the 203 you got that answer wrong and the comp shut off does that mean you failed?

Welcome

The test doesn't alter by much so as long as you have been doing your studying and practice of questions you should be ok.

It does not always mean last question wrong you fail

I have 2 questions Please If you know let me know if you dont Its ok

1 Since you all know that the Board of Nursing voted to increase the level of difficulty on the Nclex Exam starting April 1 2008, Does the books that we are sweating and studying our rears out on have enough info to pass the new standard. Or do we have to buy new books that have the new standard in it.

2 If you are taking the nclex exam and you are on your 203 question, (PN exam), and you get the last question (#203) wrong and the computer shuts off does that mean you failed. Considering you looked up the last question and you know you answered incorrectly. Please if you choose to answer have facts. Thanks and wish all you the best.

Btw , Some Nurses have been arrested for protesting a particular Nursing home citing unsafe practices that put there licenses and patients at harm. The nurses decided to resign and move to another job and were arrested citing the Nurse Director and Nursing HOme owner, putting the clients and patients at risk due to there exodus or leaving the job. We need to fix this. Nurses who become supervisors remember where you came from the bottom and stop getting into the bed with management who could care less when it comes to protecting your license. If the job produces a safety hazard of what we know I feel we have the right to leave. Because God knows Management is too dumb to give us better working conditions. So now you trying to block us from even resigning. Ok lets take action nurses.:specs:

A few weeks ago I was starting to feel frightened but now that my date is getting closer, surprisingly I'm not as nervous...I just want to get it over with and move on with my life. Anyhow, hang in there, I did Suzanne's program also and will be testing in a few days. I don't know what my scores are since I used the study mode but I know I kept on seeing the same questions over and over. I still feel like I have areas that I'm not too strong in. I also wish Saunders had more priority and delegations questions but I have faith that it has prepared me for that NCLEX monster. Just hang in there and follow the program exactly how it was written. We will pass!!!

Hi everyone,

Just needed to vent and get some advice on handling doubts, etc. I am testing at the end of March. This will be my second time to test.

I am studying using Saunders and when I test I usually get 75-85% . Then I do it again the next day and my score is low (50-60's). I study contents and my weak areas, what am I doing wrong?

I know that I can pass this test. Heck, I passed nursing school and that was hell. So, what else can I do to be more prepared? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
