This thread is for any upcoming graduates taking NCLEX in June of 2008.
To start off with I would love to hear if anyone is taking Kaplan, or Drexel or other prep courses and why did you choose the one you did? I am looking into them and I am just not sure which one is best and why.
Thanks!
If you applied online it comes to your email (check spam folder), if you paid by mail, it comes to your address.
Actually this is incorrect. If you applied by mail AND you put an email address down, they will email it to you (again, check your Spam folder)
I sent in my application and my payment by mail and received notice via email that they had received my application and payment and that I should receive my ATT via email within 4 weeks.
Again, congrats to those finding out they passed, good luck to those waiting to test, and hope you get good news soon to those waiting to find out their results!!!
I went through the rationales on that Saunders exam I just took and one of them said, "Incorrect. The correct answer is: 3. You answered: 3." :chuckle
(...or something like that...)
76 is closer to 80 than 75. LOL There were a couple I got wrong r/t not reading the question correctly.
OK....I feel better after my mile walk/run, 'nother shower, and now it's time to read some more! :)
Hello everyone. I am scheduled to test this coming Tuesday and I feel everyone's pain. I took the Kaplan classroom review and have done the question trainers 1-6. I got a 69 on the last question trainer. I have done over 1000 Q bank questions and have a cumulative average of 64. My question is, has anyone here taken the Kaplan review, met all of the criteria but still did not pass? They said their pass rate is 93%, which doesn't really say very much because it doesn't include demographics of the people who use Kaplan.
Exercising alot and use my yoga practice to decompress and focus. I have been studying about 6+ hours a day for the past two weeks and am my brain is fried. It has gotten to the point to where I am becoming aphasic, having changes in LOC, increased anxiety and having difficulty making decisions not related to practice tests. Based on this information what would be the most important action for the nurse to take?
A. Administer IM ativan stat
B. Assess vital signs
C. Start IV Lactated ringers with Parlodel piggy back
D. Place client in restraints
So here we go... The WAIT... I took my exam today. 5 hours and 15 min... ALL 265 questions... And now... Who knows??? Do you think Pearson will have results on weekends or do I need to wait until Monday or Tuesday?
I am flipping. Today is my third attempt here in good old Florida, so wish me luck... 1st time 190 questions. 2nd time 230 questions, and NOW... All of them. The computer must REALLY be having a hard time deciding what to do with me, huh? hehe... Anyway, pray and wish me luck PLEASE...

Well I just got home from taking my test. The testing center was about an hour and a half away from my house. So my husband, brother and his girlfried rode there with me. They went across the street to the mall while I was testing. I had 75 questions, 6 or 7 sata, 5 med calcs, tons of priority and only 1 drug question that I really didnt know. When my test went gray then blue...i was like...ok..oh no...did I know enough and pass or did I really bomb this thing. I was an honors student, never failed a test before, started studying for this test immediately after graduation. I dont think anything can really prepare you for this test. I just hope I knew enough to pass. Now I am scared and anxious. I want my results now, so I can plan the next steps in my life...I really feel numb...I dont know what else to say really. Anyone who has not taken this test...dont take it lightly. Its a doozey!!!
