This thread is for any upcoming graduates taking NCLEX in June of 2008.
To start off with I would love to hear if anyone is taking Kaplan, or Drexel or other prep courses and why did you choose the one you did? I am looking into them and I am just not sure which one is best and why.
Thanks!
teresalyn,
Try not to worry too much (I know, easier said than done). Honestly, I think that the more SATA's u get the better ur doing. I took NCLEX on Monday, and I had like 20 SATA's. I walked out of there in tears, because I was convinced that I had failed. Those 48 hrs were just torture. I said all of that to say, just take a deep breathe, say a prayer, and let it go. Im sure you did great!!! Be sure to let us know when u get ur results, so that we can celebrate with you!!!!!!
PS, I got my results yesterday, I PASSED, PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!!:yeah:
:yeah:

i thought that "harder" questions meant harder content...like if you get endocrine you must be doing good. i just cant believe i god that many of them..it was ridiculous. at question 33 i was like omg im keeping a tally and from that point to number 75 i had 25 sata....ive never done good on them, i actually dont think i even get them right...im freaking out because i already have a job...my dream job to be exact and i dont know what would happen
I know what you mean... I too have a dream job lined up and finding any new job for new grads in Boston is very tough this year... So there was added pressure to make sure I passed it the first time. I know it's easy for others to say, but try to relax... It sounds like you passed with flying colors.
Thank you everyone for the congrats.I truly believe God was by my side while was taking the NCLEX.
He is awesome he will always work it out you just got to lean on his understanding and ask him for peace, wisdom, and knowledge.
Today is a BLESSED day for me and my household.
Congrats ICU2008....
I knew you would get through this!
Good luck on your new career!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:heartbeat:yeah::redbeathe:redbeathe:loveya:
what is suzanne's plan? i have never heard of this. could someone please fill me in on this?
suzanne is a member/staff on allnurses, with a "saunders" plan. it has been very successful for many people, but you have to have 45 days before your test.
link to suzanne's plan: https://allnurses.com/forums/f197/2008-version-suzanne-s-first-tip-272192.html
(it is the first sticky on the nclex forum.)
I take my NCLEX tomorrow morning and am feeling anxious today. I am not sure how long I will have to wait for results for a Friday test. It seems like some people get them on Monday and some on Tuesday. I am hoping my state website posts on Monday for a Friday test. Wish me luck!
Good luck tomorrow!!!
I know in my state the Friday tests are often available on Sunday morning and I have heard people from other states on this board state they got theirs on the weekend as well.
