June 2008 NCLEX support group

This thread is for any upcoming graduates taking NCLEX in June of 2008.

To start off with I would love to hear if anyone is taking Kaplan, or Drexel or other prep courses and why did you choose the one you did? I am looking into them and I am just not sure which one is best and why.

Congratulations!!! That is exciting.

Good luck to everyone with upcoming exams. I have the PN exam on friday and I am an anxiety ridden mess. On top of trying to study for the nclex, I have papers due for class and drugs to learn for Pharm II. I will be glad when it is over so I can do this again next year at this time.

Many are finding out their scores so quickly. I hope Iowa is that way. I think I can pay $8 or something to find out in two days.

I'm looking forward to my turn with anxiety and a little excitement but not looking forward to the wait and uncertainty afterward.

I truly believe God was by my side while was taking the NCLEX.

He is awesome he will always work it out you just got to lean on his understanding and ask him for peace, wisdom, and knowledge.

I was SO patient and calm until this morning :) I don't know why I expected it to be posted this morning... The BRN is probably really busy because this time of year EVERYONE is testing!! I didn't tell any of my classmates when I was testing so now Im getting antsy to let the secret out!!! :) I think maybe I can make it another 24 hrs...

Well.... I just took the NCLEX this morning. I felt the same vaguely queasy feeling about the questions that I usually do on all the plethora of exams I've taken since nursing school began, including the HESI and all the various NLN's. It shut off at 75, and I'm fairly certain that I passed. Now I just have to twiddle my thumbs for a couple of days waiting for the results.

Congratulations to those who have just passed!!! :clphnds: Good luck to those who are still waiting for results. I will think positive thoughts for you and can't wait to hear the good news!!!

I still have two weeks before I take the test but I am already dreading the wait. Luckily though my area seems to be pretty fast as they had my first attempt results up within 48 hours. I just hope this time the news is more favorable. :plsebeg:I am currently doing Kaplan QBank tests and am working on 100-150 questions a day. :typing My scores are usually around 60-65% (usually closer to 60%) but I wish they were higher or I felt more confident taking them.

Here's to hoping that we will all be done soon!! :nurse:

I found out this morning I passed!!!!!!!! Whew hew!:D:D:D I want to thank EVERYONE in this support group for your assistance. I wish everyone who has yet to take the test all the best! You can do this! Positive self talk, convincing yourself that you are capable and will pass is a big part of the battle.
