Say you got vaccinated and choose not to stand in the middle of the street to tell the world. Yet friend or coworker keeps nagging you to tell them if you did or not

Comparing vaccinating against disease to crimes against humanity, as you have, is crazy. There is no refuting that level of crazy when it is displayed so publicly.

I made a point, you made a point, round and round we go, until I say "Thanks for sharing your point" and leave you to ponder your point sans me.

I've seen (and cant remember where so sorry no source) some interesting statistical modeling about the havoc one person infected with a virulent pathogen could cause.
In New Zealand, we started with one case of covid. Before going into lockdown the numbers of infected were doubling every day.
As a one human being you also have an obligation to consider how your actions/inactions impact on other people

Is it this one? https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2020/world/corona-simulator/

RQ, loved the graphics in this article. I recommend The Premonition to everyone. Michael Lewis writes about the original pandemic team of 2005 (Trump dismantled but some of his advisors used them behind his back) and how the concept of social distancing was derived.

I once had a patient that told me they have an adverse effect to augmentin. When I asked them what happened they said 'oh, it gave me diahorrea" which is a well documented side effect from this antibiotic.

I see this much more commonly with patient s saying they have an “allergy” to an antibiotic vs a side effect.
I’m not sure the line between side effect and adverse effect is worth arguing as it’s clear diarrhea can be/is harmful, and some conditions like pseudomenbranous colitis is clearly adverse.

An individual can not achieve herd immunity on their own. They can take steps to promote their own health, but battling an infectious disease in a pandemic setting, does require that all members of society do their part. It’s just the nature of an infectious respiratory disease. We might not be able to rely on everyone doing their part, but it is still what it takes.
So don't know how many people follow Grand Prix Formula 1 racing which is really the best car racing on the planet, but, the current champion Lewis Hamilton suspects he has long Covid after contracting it a year ago.
The fitness level of a Formula 1 racing driver has to be phenomenal and Lewis Hamilton has to be extraordinary by the way he drives. They lose pounds from sweating, g forces and the physicality etc at the end of each race.
Can this be a warning for naysayers? It's not over when you get over Covid initially... the potential long term effects can be devastating!
I think Hamilton's contract with endorsements etc nets him about $90 million a year. How costly would it be to lose all that?
