I finally went back to work last night after 3 months off with a fractured tibia. Dreaded it....until I walked in the door. Got lots of welcome backs and hugs. And...a smaller team than the others, rooms closest to the nurse's station. Everyone asking how it was going, offering help frquently. Now I'm up and getting awake for tonight and already got a call to see how the night went; call from the boss. My fellow nurses are the BEST !!! They make any bad day a better one. :yeah:
nice to know there are people that actually care about you at your work place!
This is the best post I have read here in a LONG time!

Where do you work and are they hiring?
Heh, what they said. This is so nice to hear.
Great to hear!!! My fellow nurses were extra accomadating to me last night too. I really think they were just trying to make sure I didn't do too much that'd put me into labor though:) (38weeks 2 days preggo)

Nice to hear.
I have to say, when my mum was recently diagnosed with cancer, my workmates could not have been nicer. They covered call, did out of town trips for me so I could fly home immediately, called me to check how I was doing... really lovely to work with people you can call friends.
That's refreshing to hear; you NEEDED that kind of welcome back and sounds like you got it ten-fold. It's great when you have truly caring co-workers.
