Ok, I've had it. I'm tired of whippersnapper nurses, smart alecky new grads who think that their gold plated degrees trump experience.
I'm hungry for young flesh.
I'm officially a Crusty Old Bat, to put it nicely.
Ok well, this is a 2nd career for me,having spent 10 years in the military. Came in not "young" but not "old", however, I have 18 years' experience in a variety of specialties and feel qualified to be a COB. I have had a few young try to eat ME but they find out quickly I am very tough, chewy and unbending when they try that. My skin is like that of an alligator and I don't really care what people think of me as long as my patients know they are well-cared for. I feel quite qualified to be a COB and proud of it. I am also, I am very sure, of an "age" whereby I qualify! PROUD OF IT.
And just to "seal the deal", ALL the young nurses are prettier and smarter than me, for sure. ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glorifying the perpetuation of horizontal violence and sadistic tendencies. Classy. What's that thing called, again? Oh yeah, Karma. Won't be so funny when the new grad you were mean to a few years prior, goes back to school to escape the COB and becomes your Manager. I love when that happens NIGHT SHIFTS & HOLIDAYS FOR ALL COB MEMBERS!! (Insert evil laugh)

You've been here about a month and you've posted three total times, two of those times being complaints. Honestly, what is the point?
