HRSA Nursing Scholarship

Anyone here applying or applied to the HRSA Nursing Scholarship? Looking for any input regarding the app process. I've already applied, but I have to get all the documents out to them.

Hey there! I am applying to the scholarship program. I applied last year and I didn't get it. I think it was mainly because there was a hold up with my verification from my school. I hope and pray that I get it because this is my last year and it would be great to have my school paid for!

I just graduated from nursing school but I was on HRSA scholarship for my last two years of nursing school (BSN) just get them in before deadlines and call and check that they recieved the information. The scholarship was a God send. They perfer four year nursing programs and O EFC, but I would apply regardless good luck!

I applied and should meet the first funding category... Has anyone heard anything back from them? One of the call center reps said that decisions could be made as soon as July.. which is now.. Has anyone heard?

i received the scholarship last year. keep an eye on your email that you supplied them with. they sent me forms last year that needed to be filled out by your school (for your tuition payment) and by your bank (for direct deposit of the stipend amount). i am the type that checks my email daily so i did not miss it....these forms have to be faxed back to them by the date they give you and i only had 2 days to do it. i think there were some people last year that actually missed the email so they were out of the running...i think if you get that email and you get it in on time your chances are pretty good you will be getting the scholarship. good luck....the scholarship is a god send...it is great not having to worry about where the money is going to come from to pay for school.

They sent out the rejection letters already? Last year the acceptance letters were out well before the rejection...guess they changed it up a bit.

Well my status has been changed to under review so I guess I just have to wait for that e-mail to get the paper to fax them

hi, i am just curious, when do you actually receive your first payment? for you, was it like the end of october or before?
