So what does everyone get for Christmas/Winter break?
We get out at 2pm on the 22nd (movie and party day - so will be nice and quiet day in here) and then have off until a staff inservice day Jan.3 and kids are back Jan 4th.
When I saw the topic headline, I thought it was going to be MINUTES, not days (for you school nurses). Last night I clocked out for my usual huge, long (right) alleged 30-minute break, and probably wasn't 15 minutes into it when a dr. came in, I took her to a patient I really wanted her to see, got numerous orders, etc. Happens all too often, but it's not surprising.
Out on the 16th back on Jan. 3rd. Going to Disney World for Christmas so I am definitely counting the days, hours, minutes.....
Godspeed. I was just at Epcot and Animal Kingdom this past weekend and it was a nightmare. I only live an hour away so I can go anytime but the traffic was just awful.

Our last day is the 22nd and we return on the 3rd. I picked up a 4 hour evening shift in the NICU on the 22nd and then I'm free and clear until the 3rd. My husband took off the week between Christmas and New Year's. Can't wait! Lots of quality family time!
And I'm seriously needing a break. I'm fed up with certain school avoidance kids and parents these days.
