Hi everyone,
To those who passed or failed in the new NCLEX this April, please share your thoughts and experience.
I heard a rumor that there is more SATA questions and less priority questions.
How true is this rumor ?
Select All That Apply Question. There is a multiple choice answer and there is multiple answers to the question.
For Ex: What color is an Apple?
A. Green
B. Red
C. Yellow
D. Purple
The answer is B.
However, with a SATA question it will go like this:
What colors make up the color green?
A. Yellow
B. Blue
C. Red
D. Purple
The correct answer here would be both A and Yellow.
The test question will usually say Select all that apply or multiple answer.
Blue makes green as well. Blue and yellow make green.

Actually your first question could be a SATA, there are GREEN (granny smith) apples, red appled and yellow(yellow delicious) apples :)
All of these posts about the large amount of SATA questions are freaking me out!! I am doing well on all of the practice tests I'm taking, but none of them have the amount of SATA questions that so many people seem to be saying is actually on the NCLEX, and I miss a lot of these type due to ALWAYS leaving off 1 option I should have chosen... Ughhh, getting nervous!!!

Hey BorgQueen1701
I took the NCLEX last week and failed it. The "conference" questions are seriously like this. I dont want to give specifics However...
"You are a nurse at a nursing conference and the topic is about "&%$#@$%%^^"...what are they most likely going to focus on?"
Good luck
