How hard is the new NCLEX 2013 Test Plan

Hi everyone,

To those who passed or failed in the new NCLEX this April, please share your thoughts and experience.

I heard a rumor that there is more SATA questions and less priority questions.

How true is this rumor ?

Ikr!!!! What in the world is a conference question? I've search google and came up with nothing.

Conference questions are education questions. It will give you a topic a nurse is speaking about at a conference and ask you to choose which answer is correct or incorrect regarding that topic.

Select All That Apply Question. There is a multiple choice answer and there is multiple answers to the question.

For Ex: What color is an Apple?

A. Green

B. Red

C. Yellow

D. Purple

The answer is B.

However, with a SATA question it will go like this:

What colors make up the color green?

A. Yellow

B. Blue

C. Red

D. Purple

The correct answer here would be both A and Yellow.

The test question will usually say Select all that apply or multiple answer.

is that your 1st attempt?? where state your trying to pass? i dunno what im gonna do i also failed and took the exam last few days.. i dunno if i should take time or take the test again stat :(

The PV trick works! I passed!!!!! It's official! Yay! I used hurst review and the PDA book. Hurst led me to success :-)

No offense, but I needed to here some good news about someone passing!!!! A lot of what I've been reading in here hasn't been as favorable, sadly. Thanks for sharing your success. It gives us who have tested yet, confidence that the test is passable!!!

All of the posts about failing I was reading was starting to freak me out. Lol! I think I might need to take a break from these NCLEX threads and forums until after my exam.

I wish everybody the best!!!! Never give up and keep moving forward, regardless of the results!

Congratulations! !! I had a ton of priority questions, about 10 SATA. No other stlye question and had 75 total. A lot of the questions asked I had never heard of or studied specifically but I was able to deduce the correct answer thanks to school

I just finished NCLEX-RN an hour ago. Had 98 questions and got the good pop-up for the Pearson Vue Trick!!!!!! Hoping for the best!!!!!

Exam Cram. I read this book, NCLEX Prep made simple. It was $4 in the Kindle Bookstore. It was amazing at giving the "juicy" info needed for each Specialty.

The day before, lock away the books and relax.

i used exam cram I answered the 1000 questions last night got 85% of it it. Any chance?? :)
