If you passed, how did you feel after taking the exam?

I just left mine, and am not feeling great. Aaaaarrrgg! 75 questions, and just... :sour:

I felt numb. I didn't know if I passed or not. I did know id studied hard --2500 questions. I knew that since the test shut off at 75 or 85 that I'd likely passed but I didn't know if I did or didn't.

I did the PVT about 1-2 hrs after the test and got the good pop up.

My state doesn't participate in quick results, but a few weeks later I found out I did pass.

I hope you did, too!

Vintagemother, I felt as though I was guessing on a majority of the questions, it was the most unsettling feeling ever!

I was relieved to know it was finally over. I was fairly sure that I passed so I came home and took a nap

I felt like I was making the most educated attempts I could on most questions, there were very few questions that I "knew" I had correct. I had lots of SATAs. I hope it works out for you!! Try not to worry!

I felt like complete crap!! It wasn't at all what I was expecting.

I thought there was a good chance I failed.

Mine cut off at 75, and I did the PVT about 3 hours later and got the good pop up and 2 days later found out I passed.

I keep hearing that the worse you feel when you leave, the better you did because if it was giving you hard questions that's a good sign.

I felt pretty good about it....at first. I felt that I was somewhat prepared. During the test, I was almost positive it was going to shut off after 75 questions because I thought I was doing good. Then, when it did shut off, I thought to myself that the test wasn't bad at all. I was confident I had kicked that exams butt ;-)

Then halfway on my drive home, I freaked out! I remember all the posts I had read about how horrible the test was, and how everybody thinks they failed. So I couldn't have possibly passed if I thought it wasn't hard! But, I did in fact pass!

I had a near panic attack at 73 about what if it did not shut off at 75. And than at 75 I felt like I was going to vomit.

Yes, I did. My first day as a new nurse starts in 1.5 hours, well after I spend most of the day in HR. :***:

Went back and read most of this thread and saw you did the PVT and it was good! No you don't have to and you can't call it official but you can let it sink in a little that more than likely you did pass. Congratulations on the good pop up!

I need a select all button. Went through all those stages. When I left I was like heck yeah i got this. 20 minutes later it was "Oh god what did I do, I failed!". Then another hour later it was ok cause all my friends and I met at the bar for celebratory/drinking sorrow away drinks

Shut off at 75. Thought it was pretty easy. Knew I passed.

See, that's what's throwing me. I felt like I was getting easy questions. :/ Maybe I'm just psyching myself out.
