I felt like I failed. I didn't think there was any one direct way to study for that test. I'm not sure anything could have prepared me for it, I used Kaplan and maybe it helped a bit but overall I'm still unsure. I was actually hoping for more than 75 questions because by the time it had gotten to 75 I felt as though I still hadn't proved my competency. Nevertheless it shut off at 75. I got the good pop up on PVT, I tried several times just to make sure, lol.

I cried in the elevator down to the lobby. I didn't know how to feel. 75 questions and it cut off. Passed!
SSRM, I did try and got the good pop up. I had to drive 3 hours from my house to take it, so I didn't give myself a chance to check until I got to a friend's house lol.

When I did my PN test I bawled the rest of the day.
I cried a little when I got downstairs and saw my husband. We picked up cheesecake and zinfandel on the way home!
Well from what I've read it's pretty reliable if you can't register. There seems to be a gray area if it allows you to put in your credit card information. I've been on AN for four years and from everything I've gathered I trust it.

I was relieved when I left but surprised that the test ended so fast. I took 75 questions and finished in under 45 minutes. I got the good pop up and paid for the results and I passed :) congrats to all you new RN's!!!!
