What are some interventions you usually use to deal with syncope and dizziness? I know checking the blood sugar, and vital signs should be the first you do. Then having the person lie flat and and letting them drink warm water, beef bouillon is another thing to do. What about you? What are your tips and tricks?

Beef bouillon???

EKG. Sometimes a person can have a cardiac reason for syncope. For some people with pacemakers, this was a symptom that brought them to the doctor.

Orthostatic vitals. Make sure they change positions slowly. PT consult (Epley maneuver). Antivert (dizziness)

What is this warm water/beef bouillon thing?

Smells like homework.

...I sure hope so.

Homework or a troll or asking for personal advice or wants to sell bullion as a health supplement :roflmao:.

Uh, how does the person present? Like, are they having their blood drawn, walking around in the heat, etc?

If I'm dizzy and you give me warm water (especially if I'm lying flat), I will vomit. So please don't do that.

No idea what the warm water is about, but the boullion is probably about salt. Increasing salt intake is an option for people with orthostatic hypotension.

I work in the community so I teach people to sit up, wait. Put feet on the floor, wait. Put hands to thighs, stand up slowly.
