We are all rock stars!
Also: my school put a note about this day today is our daily email that goes out to staff every day. First time they have done this and it is so simple, but you know what, it melted my heart. Sometimes, it is the little things.

I hope you all have a great day! I love having you all as a sounding board.
My school put a note on the daily staff stuff, and played "Spoonful of Sugar" for me on the morning announcements. It's the little things.

It's also National teacher appreciation week. So I think they forget about nurse's day/week...lol.

May we all have a day without being vomited on or berated by a parent!
Thank you to everyone here for all the help you give day in & day out--I couldn't have survived the past 2 school years without all of you answering my questions and being my sounding board.

My oldest daughter (5th grader at the same school as me) even said the other day, "That's so dumb. Why is nurses week the same as teacher appreciation week???" I explained that it's a national thing, not just our school choosing the weeks. She is a little bummed that I don't get as much love and recognition as the teachers, but I told her it was fine. Appreciation is GREAT, but that's not necessarily why most of us became nurses so we just push on and really appreciate whenever we are recognized. ?

Better late than never. I appreciate all of you and even if you don't get recognized at your school site, just know you are appreciated.
