OK. OK. It may be a bit too much but I love it!!
What do you think? A little overboard?

Purple,
My office is 2 hours away from all of my co-workers so...
I did remind my co-workers about the administrative assistant day and did contribute to a gift for them (they are also 2 hours away).
Oh well, at least I have a good work schedule.

Happy Nurses' Day to all of you!
I am pretty sure there were things going on at work today, but since I'm not working, I'm not going....they already called me to see if I could pick up hours tonight, so it would be hard to say no and then show up for that!

We have stuff going on for a week. Today was an ice cream social, tomorrow free breakfast or lunch. And there is Nurse of the Year stuff next week. And we will probably get a pretty little pin to put on our badges. Happy Nurses Day to all!

We had breakfast for night shift yesterday and the gave us umbrellas. They are doing all kinds of food oriented things this week.

My facility is broke so we're not having a big celebration or gifts. I did get a nice note from a former patient's mom, she told me thanks for being a wonderful nurse to her child and how much my care meant to them. That's what it's all about to me and I couldn't have asked for a better nurses day gift.

Hopefully it contains another nurse cause staffing is a joke.

Considering what I have to put up with the other 364 days, it's not big enough.

Probably too late to post this but I wanted to share every time I have encountered a nurse they have always been so knowledgeable and kind. When I was younger I used to wish I could have a nurse come see me rather than a doctor.
Thank you all who make others feel this way!
