Halloween: Are you prepared?

Halloween party anyone? If you could get dressed up as anything/anyone what would it be? What are your expectations for this Halloween?

I put out fall decorations Sept 1, Halloween Oct 1 and Thanksgiving on Nov 1...I ;like it, there is a  certain rhythm to my schedule when I go back in school.

Never had any trick or treaters where I live (rural NH) but thats doesn't stop me from buying my favorite candy, to have just in case!

What's your favorite candy?

I'm jealous!  I've heard the movie is really good so I'm planning on hitting the theater this weekend.

35 yo son had major meltdown last year as unable to find our 25 yo collection of Pumpkin Masters carving books; found them in LR on top of my nursing books shelf yesterday while dusting.   Told him of my discovery "not into carving this year."   Younger brother found my scarecrow collection and helped put them on lawn.  

I'm the good neighbor that gives out WHOLE SIZE candy bars instead of fun size. Have day glo braclets for toddlers along with goldfish crackers.

I just have fun with Mr. Manilow because his soft rock was popular in the '70's when there were classic rockers like Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Boss.

I also have fun with him because Dr. Jonny Fever would throw darts at a picture of Barry Manilow on the classic TV  show WKRP in Cincinnati.

It was all lit up which until he know longer looked scary. A jack-O-Lantern with dentures just didn't cut it for me. ?

Trick-or-treating ... always my favorite activity of the year ... Trick-or-Treat smell my feet ... Give me something good to eat .... houses getting bombed with toilet paper ... cars hit with eggs ... ahhhh, the good ole days ?

The newest Halloween Movie is good! If you are at all nervous about going out to the theater it is available on Peacock streaming service.  I can't believe Jamie Lee Curtis has been in the same movie franchise since 1978! I went to the first one, and every one since in the theater...boy does that make me feel old!

I know most Women in general like to wear their masks and costumes (makeup and sexy clothes as most women's clothing is designed to be sexy) most of the time especially in public, but some really step it up during this time of the year! Like Werewolves and Vampires, etc. (I prefer the full wolf face over a "sexy werewolf" face)

As for myself, I'm not sure what I'll do this year.

It depends if I can get a job before the end of the month!

I might still have my Werewolf Mask lying around here somewhere!

I already got the lumberjack long sleeve button up shirt!

But I DO have a scrub top printed just for Halloween!
