  1. Perhaps I’ll go as a pregnant nun. I’m already used to ruffling feathers
  2. When I used the service last year, a live person introduced themself on the screen, explained the process, and then asked me to rotate the camera on my monitor to check out my little space. In general, they request that you don’t have books or papers in your area, and that the desk space is relatively empty. I flashed my empty scratch paper and my ID at the camera, and that was about it. Ideally, you don’t want to glance around or wander in the room during an exam, because it’ll flag your test and they have to go back and review the entire video, so your results are like snail mail. My HESI exam had a box in the corner where I could supposedly chat with the proctor (if I had to go to the bathroom or the screen froze), but he never responded. It was all good, though. Also, they never asked to see my scratch paper after my test was finished. Pretty straight forward. GOOD LUCK! Slay on!
  3. Just got mine from Cy-Fair ?
  4. Ha, yes, it is sad when the moderator picks up on the low down before I do. More love here than I expected ☺️ Side note, since we’re all squirming in our seats.. What’s the most cringe-worthy scrub color you could picture yourself in? I’ll start with.. orange?
  5. .. ought I be? I can’t say I’ve had the time for that sort of research. I don’t have any social media presence, but this forum looked like a decent opportunity to know that I’m not alone in this process.
  6. The acceptance isn’t a first-come, first-serve situation. They have to take account for anyone who was lining up their credits, taking the HESI, or finishing a vaccination, up until the application cutoff. Definitely an advantage for anyone who applied early, though, in the instance that something was amiss with their application or transcript. Those usually get a courtesy heads-up from the department for any corrections. I’ve been told that the emails usually get sent in batches, according to campus, but pretty much everyone gets an answer in the same few days. At this point, all we can do is woosah.. and start investing in highlighters.
  7. Oops, yeah I found a screenshot of my application, and it was Tomball as my second choice. A gal I know really enjoys the program there, and she had previously gone through the cy-fair location, up until the last semester. My HESI was a 97.2%. I guess that’s technically a 7.888
  8. When I submitted that first page of the application, it didn’t have any grey’d out locations. It was obvi an oversight on my part. My goal is CF
  9. Much love, my fellow cohort! .. I may be late in the wherewithal of this potential semester. I just applied for CF, Kingwood, and Montgomery.. in that order. I’m done w/ my pre and co-requ’s (although I had to renew a few science cred’s) so in the meantime I’m doing some Summer mini’s to get a jump on my BSN. I wish everyone a confident head start. Applied w a 7.89
