Fundamentals Test Questions

Published

For those that are in Fundamentals, I thought it be kinda helpful if people could post their test questions (if ya can remember them) here on a thread and we could accumulate alot of practice questions that way. I know my chapter tests in my textbook have very few questions. But I wouldnt mind posting some of the questions on my exams to a thread afterwards for others to get practice........I can probably remember quite a few. (We dont get to keep our exams)

Just a suggestion, it may be too time consuming to type questions up on here but I'd be interested to read others stuff ;)

We use Taylor's Fundamentals and it comes with a study guide and with CD. The study guide is great, it really helps you to remember. May be you can contact the publisher and order just the study guide.

I believe we cannot post the test questions because of copyright violations.

I think that depends on the test. If it's out of a book then yeah probably. If your instructors pull them out of their hind ends then probably not lol

We had to sign an agreement that we would not share any test questions throughout our program with future students on online anywhere. You might want to be careful. The class before mine had to retake all their final exams from all 5 semesters before they could graduate and then they did not get to do this or graduate until the end of Jan instead of the begining of December like they were supposed to due to this very reason. Someone had gotten ahold of test questions and posted them on the internet so everyone got accused of cheating. Just be careful is all.

I also used Taylors Fundamentals and quite a few NCLEX review books while in school.

We are in Fundamentals 2 now.....and I'll be lucky if I have all my hair when I get out. May be we could share tricks to help remember different things that are taught in Fundamentals. We had a very hard test today the highest grade was a 93 which is a B. I think the more in-depth you get the more our teacher is wanting us to use critical thinking.:uhoh3:

I was just reading the website thread. On the first page, message 3, studentsandra list alot of very good sites. Toward the bottom of her list you will see the statement that you can match the chapters to your text book...there are some Fundamental study and practice questions.

what first page are you talking about?

If I get caught sharing test questions anywhere, I've violated Duke's honor code. I'd be willing to bet that this is true everywhere. Sharing or "discussing" questions outside of the people who have actually taken the thing with me can get me in big trouble, especially since I have no idea who on this board may go to my school next year. And my fundamentals instructor writes her own tests to boot.

It's a neat idea, but as I said, I'm thinking we're all bound to not do it, based on school policy. I've yet to see an institution of higher learning that doesn't have an honor code of some sort.

i assumed she was talking more of practise questions in general then actual test question, i would never share those either

He/she (I cannot remember if FNPhopeful is a woman or a man) said "we're not allowed to keep our exams", and said to post if we could "remember them", so I think we all assumed that actual test questions were being requested. We don't do practice tests, and I'd be equally afraid to give those out as well if we did, because you never know if they may later show up as actual questions a couple of years down the road.

Maybe instead of posting specific questions for that specific class we could have a nursing question of the day. Just questions WE made up on our own? Maybe that would be fun.

they can be questions about anything...anatomy, fundamentals, pharmacology... etc

I'll start with a definition.

What is pharmacokinetics?
