Well, I finished nursing school with great grades, a marriage, and three children ?? .. And most of all complete sanity. I didn't find it as stressful as I read about and managed to go straight thru my program with no hiccups. I'm so happy and proud of myself. Took my weeklong Kaplan review class last week, doing my QTrainers and qbanks, and waiting for my permission to test. Hoping for middle end of January. Wish me luck and many prayers! ?? good luck to all the new nursing school students! Enjoy it, it really does go by quickly.

Congrats and good luck on boards! I hope to be where you are in May '16 except I have 5 children ages 4-14!

Great attitude, it is only as stressful as you make it. Congratulations!!

Big congrats! It's so great to hear success stories from people with husbands and families. I myself have a husband, and two kids (age 11 and 9). Good luck in your future!

Congrats! Feels great, yes? I'm working on Kaplan too and testing in January. Like you, I graduated from nursing school with marriage and family and sanity intact. I graduated with a 4.0 and had no problems passing my exit exam. Unlike you, however, I found nursing school to be highly stressful and I'm so glad it's over! Good luck on NCLEX! I got my ATT one week after graduation, so you just might get yours sooner than you think. Again good luck and best wishes!

I really wish I heard more stories about folks getting through with their sanity intact. I start January 12 and find myself completely intimidated despite very successfully balancing a full time job (with monthly east coast travel), a marriage, 3 dogs, a fulfilling personal life, and working out while in undergrad and then grad school for the last 6 years. You cannot read some of these posts without being positive that you are going to gain 50 pounds, get divorced, lose all your friends, and then fail nursing school anyway. :) Congratulations to you!

Stress is a reaction, not a 'thing' in itself. OP has a wonderful attitude and is going to be a great nurse!

Completely sane? Is it possible to actually maintain sanity? I thought sanity was a spectrum...
