Well, I finished nursing school with great grades, a marriage, and three children ?? .. And most of all complete sanity. I didn't find it as stressful as I read about and managed to go straight thru my program with no hiccups. I'm so happy and proud of myself. Took my weeklong Kaplan review class last week, doing my QTrainers and qbanks, and waiting for my permission to test. Hoping for middle end of January. Wish me luck and many prayers! ?? good luck to all the new nursing school students! Enjoy it, it really does go by quickly.

Thank you all. I'm glad I could be a breath of fresh air. Now don't get me wrong, I studied like I was supposed to, but I kept a Good balance. Never put off a birthday celebration or missed an event for my kids. Life's too short! Enjoy it and study hard too!

I love seeing these posts. I plan to be you in one year when I finish LPN school, just with 2 more kids. ;)

I've always been a good student. Maybe I'm crazy but that part doesn't have me too worried. I'm more concerned with the logistics of all the kid activities and child care for my two youngest on all-day class days.

Congrats! I'll be done in less than 2 weeks (LPN to RN bridge) and have managed to keep my sanity even when my kids father went to jail, faced eviction because of his actions, had my car impounded d/t expired registration, all while working 16 hours a week and raising a 1 and 3 yr old who I might add have birthdays 2 weeks apart from each other (December 22nd, January 4th) and pulled xmas off barely this year! I gave all my blessings to God and am expecting to enroll in a BSN program as soon as I pass my boards and switch to an RN post on at my current job (county jail)

You just have to put your mind to getting the work done... I am in my RN-BSN program and as much as it stinks not having as much time to do whatever I want anymore, I know I need to just get it done, as it will be worth it (I hope anyway) in the end when I can get my dream NICU or PICU job and eventually do pediatric transport!
