Well....this has been interesting.....I am personally going to ge the address of the guy driving the mack truck that ran me over so I can personally HURT HIM. I had a SBO apparently "for a while"...I was a sick cookie. I am home but ready for much except moan in pain, ambulate very slowly, and eat popsicles....the only think that tastes good. But I am home.

Harrowing few days for my family.....I have been very sick. I am so thankful for the prayers that helped me turn that corner. I have NO memory but apparently I have a strong aversion to the ventilator and being intubated. Somehow I expected that would not fly well with me....LOL.

To Dr. G. W. in the ED (and old friend) Thank you! you helped a very frightened patient be less afraid...I am grateful. DR. Mahoney is wonderful! To G the ED nurse your kindness and patience meant the world to me. to the OR nurses....I'm sorry I am a cry baby.....I was so frightened....bless you all masked heroes! Dr Mahoney....I am a forever fan....exactly when did you physicians get so young....LOL I am so grateful for your skill, care and patience with my (and my sisters) incessant questioning. I am your devoted servant.

To the wonderful ICU nurses at E.H.l!!! ( I will thank you all when I remember your names....LOL) Thank you for your love patience and care even when I was not the most receptive....AHEM...cooperative with the care plan of...resting on the vent....a true oxymoron. LOL

For my ICU nurse friends...GIVE PROPOFOL.....I remember NOTHING!

Well....that is my Marathon for today. A few thoughts....When removing a NGT.....tell patients it hurts. A LOT! I thought my frontal lobe was being removed through my left nares. Every patient deserves a PICC line!!! ICE CHIPS are THE BEST thing in the while world!! Hospital beds suck!!! I love cepacol lozenges.

Just thank you ALL my AN friends and family for your prayers and positive thoughts....I love you all more that you will ever know. I have read each and every get well and it has meant a lot to me. Ok this is my activity for this morning. Just my love and thank you for your prayers.

Glad to hear that you are home and on the mend!
