Had a kid bring his wet, bloody tooth and plop it right on my desk.

Or the kid that did running knee slide into my office.

The ones old enough to cover their mouths but choose to cough right in your face instead.

I'm slowly losing my ?

Kid comes in not feeling well, out yesterday w/ sore throat that parent never called in...afebrile today, may be allergies but MAY NOT!! We have had an increase in cases...gah!!!!!!! And her brother was at the gym where there was a positive case....

Yup. Spring break starts tomorrow. I'm waiting on two pending tests that may quarantine a large handful of students the day before break-can you imagine the ? hitting the fan??

Really excited to return to full capacity after Spring Break ?

Students allowed to be within 3ft for seating purposes, but need to quarantine if within 6ft of a positive student.  

I see no issues there, right?

?  Last November one student identified as a close contact, got on a plane to the islands...

Negative but the sibling of a  +kid who played 4 indoor soccer games has tested positive....I'm so done with OUT OF SCHOOL events impacting my school!!!!?

In 26 years of nursing I have never been told off, cussed at, disrespected more than this year.  We just came back from  Spring Break ( have been in school since Aug) I cried in my car before I walked in.  Pretty sure this will be my last year of nursing at all.  

Im sorry this is where we are right now, no words to describe it...

I am feeling this so hard right now. I'll be back next year for sure (I'm only 3 years in and I know it will get better), but the level of disrespect and distrust I have felt this year has been almost too much for me to take, especially in the last 4 weeks. 4 days until our week-long Spring break, and then 36 school days until Summer. Cannot. Come. Soon. Enough.

Checked a kid whose sibling was found to have live lice to see if he needed to be sent home also. He didn't have lice. He told me he wished he did so he could go home too. Then when I told him he could go back to class, he walked by the sibling and RUBBED HIS HEAD ON HER HEAD! Asked me if he could go home now, too! Nope, but you can go to the principal's office ?. C'mon now!
