Had a kid bring his wet, bloody tooth and plop it right on my desk.
C'mon now!
Or the kid that did running knee slide into my office.
C'mon now!
The ones old enough to cover their mouths but choose to cough right in your face instead.
All together: C'mon now!!
Some things just make me shake my head.

C'mon Now. Praying for safe schools all across the country.
My heart jumped for you. Thank God it wasn't real. That's so scary.
A school in our district received a hoax threat last year, it's very scary.

A piece of pencil eraser works. But those would be found in the classroom, not the nurse’s office!

I was asked a few days ago if I have TOOLS. I said, "Let me just check my toolboxOHWAIT nope, I'm a nurse...maybe check with FACILITIES on that one..."
One of my kinder teachers has sent a mass email to all of the parents in her class because we are having flu hit their group again and she wanted to let her parents know. She even made sure to include the word "epidemic" and stressed that if their kiddo is sick, or if I call, to make sure they're seen by a pediatrician because we have some serious illnesses on our campus.
So, if you're looking for me, I'll be answering phone calls and emails for the rest of my life now and trying to explain why it wasn't ME who sent out an email since we have such a giant concern regarding illnesses on our campus...

I would forward all calls to her, in the classroom, while she's teaching. I mean she is obviously more qualified to deal with this than you are. ?
