I live in Alabama and several nurse's where I work clip their nails at the nurse's station and I find that to be horribly disgusting. Has anyone else had coworkers who do this? Does it bother you all or am I just being fussy?

or if someone pops a zit while they sit in front of a shared computer terminal... just don't do it
Ewwww. Thanks for that lovely image.
Or plucking nose hairs or eyebrows. Or cleaning under fingernails. Or . . . :)
Plucking nose hairs? Seriously? People, the nurses' station is not your private bathroom.

Not all that important to me, but on the other hand, it's one of a long list of things that it would never occur to me to do at work.

For me, the sound of someone clipping his/her nails is the same as someone cracking gum. I would have had to go sit somewhere else.
I hate wearing watches because I can hear the secondhand constantly ticking. Drives me up the wall.

Clipping fingernails at any spot other than your own bathroom is disgusting.

Whenever I stayed overnight at my grandmother's, I would here this tick tick tick of the freaking clock in her bedroom and it drove me NUTS.

I like watches with silent second hands, not the ones that you can hear constantly ticking, they remind me of Edgar Allan Poe's The Tell Tale Heart.
Maybe you're the long-lost great, great, great, great, great niece of Captain Hook!

I worked inpatient locked department psych for too long to let a few fingernails bother me. Toenail clippings would be marginal.

A nurse who wants to be treated as a professional shouldn't be doing her nails on the clock. Also, it would be easy to miss some of the clippings when she cleans up. (I do hope she cleans up!)
I'm with Pangea on the scented body lotion/perfume. Those scents aren't good for at least some of the patients, either.
