Celebrate Your Fall 2010 Acceptances Here!!!

Published

Im graduating in may with a BS in health sciences from Michigan State. The nursing program is extremely hard to get into here so I just decided to get a health related degree while there and then apply to other nursing programs when I graduated.

I applied to about 4 schools and I just got accepted into my first choice school so I dont even care about hearing from the rest of the schools I applied to. Im really excited/nervous and proud of myself because I got in on the first try:D. I also get to start off in the actual nursing courses and clinicals since I already have all the gen ed and pre req courses completed, which also cuts down the cost by $18,000!

What about you guys?

Geez!! How does everybody have acceptance letters already? My school doesn't send out letters until the end of May:( Which is pretty stupid because registration for fall semester is next week, and if you don't register and then don't get in (when you get accepted, they automatically register you for nursing classes) you are screwed and have to late register.

Hopefully though, I will get accepted to the BSN program at Columbus State University this fall!:redbeathe

Congratulations on all of you that are starting this fall. I had a post just like this last year for those starting fall 2009, now I am almost done with my 1st year.

I still get excited for all the students that are going to start. So far it's been a bumpy but great ride. Nursing school is what you make of it so go in with a positive attitude and HAVE FUN!!!!

I received my letter in March. I am in class of 2012 of UNC-Greensboro, NC Nursing BSN program. I can't wait!!! THis is my 2nd degree and career but I have never been so excited before! :lol2:

Congrats! This is going to be my 2nd degree as well. My first choice BSN program is a 3 year program and i just cant see myself being in school for another 3 years in addition to the 4 that I just completed, so Im going to opt for a 2 year ASN program that I got accepted to as well. Im too scared to pursue an accelerated program, but I wish I could find schools that accepted 2nd degree students into their traditional BSN programs but I havent had any luck yet:confused: Actually I got accepted to Univ of Miamis 2nd degree traditional program, but who has $18,000+ a semester? I know I dont !!!

I found out towards the end of March that I have been accepted into the nursing program for Fall 2010!! I'm very excited!!

Congrats to everyone!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE ACCEPTED AND GOOD LUCK TO THOSE STILL WAITING!

I was readmitted to the ADN program at my current community college. Was in the nursing program last fall but screwed up and ended up failing my classes. Thankfully they're giving me a second chance.

As far as my pre req grades are concerned....I have A's in chemistry, gen psych, and devp psych. B's in microbiology and gen biology, and I got a C in both A&P 1 and A&P 2. I'm now retaking A&P because at the school I was attending before this one, it was only a 3 credit hour course and most nursing programs require you take a 4 credit hour A&P course including the lab.

I later plan to either complete an RN-BSN degree program and let whatever company I work for pay for it, or an RN-MSN program...Haven't really decided yet!

Again, Congratulations to the class of 2012!!!

Got my letter about two weeks ago- can't wait to get started, and thrilled to share the news with other people who know what a coup it is to actually get in to nursing programs right now, given how many people are applying.

Congrats to us all- we deserve it because even getting accepted is such a challenge these days!!!!!!

Congrats to all the Fall 2010 Nursing Students! :yeah:
