April 2008 NCLEX test takers, COME ON IN!

Per the request of janina08 I've started the April NCLEX takers support group. When do you take it? What are you using to study? Would anyone like to review any of the systems/meds that he/she feels weakest on? Let's keep each other in our prayers and good thoughts as we go through one of the biggest experiences of our lives. :)

dont worry u have PASSED, when i wrote the first time, i felt the same way too, but i failed anyway, i think its bcos i wasnt just prepared enough, if u did your best in preparing, u'll pass, u dont need to cry yourself out, just smile and be happy and wait for your result, cos freaking out doesnt change your scores, i m testing on thursday, i'm only praying for Gods divine favour and guidiance to succeed.

Thanks..... I prayed the entire time, before, during and after the test. At 7am that morning, I texted all my friends to say a prayer for me. I call my Grandmother and Aunt and also asked for prayer. I know prayer works, and I felt the more, the better. Im just nervous. I had at least 10-15 SATA, about 15-30 priority questions, a few med-surg:endocrine,cardio, psych. 2 or 3 ob, 2 or 3 peds. I dont know what to think. A friend of mine took it a day ahead of me and said she had basically the same type of format. And she found out today that she passed. I'm praying for the same results tomorrow. I am kind of afraid to check because I have a final on Tuesday. Dont want to find out I failed going into the final, I might freak.

Im more nervous now than I was before or during the test.... Im weird i know:uhoh3:...... Im just praying that the prayers from on here and my friends and family worked......:bowingpur

I just registered here and wanted to share with everyone. I took NCLEX-PN on Saturday and was so sure I failed! I took all 205 questions and was so bummed...Luckily we have the quick results where I am and I just found out like 30 minutes ago that I passed!! I am still shaking!!

God is sooooooo Good!!

Now I can start looking for a job!

Just take it easy and just focus on your weak spots.You can read on test taking strategies as well as ways to calm and relax yourself. Its important to stay focused during the test and not let anxiety get in the way. Pray, pray, pray...

I was weak with pharmacology too but just try too understand the function of the medication class rather than individual meds because you will surely get overwhelmed at this time. Goodluck on your test and God Bless:)
