Published

Hi: Is anyone age 35 plus a student besides me? My classmates are all the age of my children. I am 45.

Started NS at 39 and will finish at 41, yet I will always be 25:rolleyes:

Shhh, don't tell anyone!:D

Hi Yes I went to Moraine Park. At that time they had the LPN program. I went to the Moraine Park in Beaver Dam. They did not offer the program in West Bend. Now the progrom is offered at all schools. One can exit after one year for the Lpn-take exam. You do have to sign up for the ADn program.

Did I like the program-yes and no. It was bootcamp for me. I was 40 and it worked out well. I passed on first try on exam. If you worked as a cna before it does help. Good luck

I started my pre-reqs at age 40, I'm starting Fall 2009 and I will turn 42 just after nursing school starts. AND my oldest daughter is starting college in the fall as well!

Hi Everyone, I am 38 and taking my last pre-req for an ADN program at SRJC in Santa Rosa, CA. I used to be an English major so I am hoping that will help me with the writing aspect of writing out lengthy care plans. I can whip out an essay pretty darn fast. Yes, there are alot of older students in my classes. It is nice to mentor the younger ones in study habits etc. I wish I had someone older to guide me on study habits when i was 18!
