I am so happy for everyone that passed but i keep saying to myself "why couldn't that be me?" It just kills me to think i have failed Nclex RN twice and others take it one time and pass. I have been studying using Suzanne's plan this time and i'm scheduled to retest next month. Please throw some good vibes my way cos i need all the help i can get.
Any other 2nd and 3rd time test takers out there?
iamhopeful, thanks for reply.Anybody have suggestion. should I call cali. board or wait another week?
Where are you at the moment? If in India then you are looking at an approx time or 4-6 weeks for snail mail and they will not tell you the results over the phone just that they have posted your letter. I would suggest giving it a little bit longer.
On a side note you are aware that unless you provide a SSN they will not issue you with a license until you are in the US with a valid work permit. You have 3 years to provide this and if you don't your file is deleted. With retrogression at the moment the processing for India is 2001 so looking at 6 years currently before you get to the US and that is no longer a guarantee due to the high demand on EB3 visas if you pass NCLEX. Much has been written in the International forum on this. Once you have approval for I140 you are affected by retrogression and to get approval once employer has filed I140 is approx 6-12 months depending on service center your file is sent to ( you do not have a choice)
i got my result after 31days.i passed nclex-pn.i going to take nclex-rn in may.i got mine in big envelop.i was so nervous to open it because,i knew i failed.i had my husband open it for me after one day but it's said i pass.[/quotecongrats to you kjani26! i wish you to have a more fruitful nursing career to come. :hrnsmlys:
I failed the 2nd time in Nov., which I thought for sure I had pass but I got the results and my heart sank. Meeting with others to study did not work for me but I needed help.
I decided to look for solutions on the internet. Anything. I came across Nclex sites that were to costly. To take another test and fail would set me back financially because I have to fly out to Honolulu and stay at a hotel and not to mention the cost of the nclex exam. I prayed for answers and I guest I was guided to this site. I started reading the PMs and found it up lifting to know that I wasn't alone. Now I'm hooked.
My heart goes out to everybody and thank you for your tips and comments. I'm now trying Suzane's Plan but I have to juggle studying with work. I am a full time LPN so it will take me a while to complete it. I haven't applied to retake it yet until I am very ready. Cause I'm scared. Hopefully I can do this by the Summer.
Aloha and Mahalo to everybody.

As you know I tested in Dec and did not pass.
I have decided to use Suzanne plan so I think that would have me testing around March of this year.
As I believe we all came through RN school so that information is in there it just a matter of figuring out how NCLEX wants it back and for those of us whom are practicing nurses already well we have double jeopardy- have to forget everything we do or how we learned it. REplacing with RN steps.
Haven't personally met a one of you yet luv you like Family.
We will do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All in the masters hand
