Any 2nd or 3rd time test takers?

Published

I am so happy for everyone that passed but i keep saying to myself "why couldn't that be me?" It just kills me to think i have failed Nclex RN twice and others take it one time and pass. I have been studying using Suzanne's plan this time and i'm scheduled to retest next month. Please throw some good vibes my way cos i need all the help i can get.

Any other 2nd and 3rd time test takers out there?

I have now failed 3 times and am so frustrated!!! So I am here to find support from others like me and those who can offer any help as well. I dont think anyone can relate to this feeling unless they too have failed. I have a close friend who graduated with me and is also in the same boat. Good luck to everyone testing if its their 1st or 5th try.

Welcome, You will find many here that are retaking it. Good luck

Does anybody have some tips or strategies for taking the NCLEX-RN the second time? It really is frustrating to study all over again so this time I joined this forum hoping to get some advice from people who actually succeeded in their NCLEX. I have been out of nursing for more than 10 years but this time I just want to give it another try. I need all the help I can get... I read something about Suzanne's plan & felt really bad that I didn't come across it before I took my test March '09...it seems it was a lot of help to a lot of people so I hope to find some information about it since she has stepped down. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

This is my 3rd time around as well and it's really hard for me to still believe in myself.....but I just got the book to start suzannes plan. And I just gotta make it it this time.Starting all over from scratch.....evenough I know I did better in some areas I feel like this time I gotta have it right and the only way is to do it all over.My last test was end of January....my question would be I don't know if I just give myself some more time this time around and schedule my test once I did go through the whole book ,or should I go ahead and do it now?thanks for all the support I find on here, that really helps.

hi, bt europe! will you please be kind enough to share more information about Suzanne's Plan? I just don't wanna do the same things I did the first time I prepared for the NCLEX as obviously, I have missed out on a lot of things that might have contributed to my failure. I have encountered a lot of priority questions, I don't have any idea whether those belong to higher level of difficulty or not. I remembered the strategies I learned from Kaplan book about answering priority questions like Maslow, ABC, nursing plan but when you are taking the actual exam, it seemed those strategies don't apply. The answer choices were all so familiar that you could easily get lost trying to find out the correct one. I really want to try Suzanne's plan & hopefully pass my NCLEX this time, i just don't wanna regret not having done something that obviously has helped a lot of people to succeed. Thanks! by the way, i am new to this forum & wonder if you have any idea on how to post a new thread? this one that i am linked to seems old...thanks again!

Suzanne's plan is no longer available on the site https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/suzannes-plan-373424.html

Practise questions read the rationale even if you got the question right.
