I am so happy for everyone that passed but i keep saying to myself "why couldn't that be me?" It just kills me to think i have failed Nclex RN twice and others take it one time and pass. I have been studying using Suzanne's plan this time and i'm scheduled to retest next month. Please throw some good vibes my way cos i need all the help i can get.
Any other 2nd and 3rd time test takers out there?
I got unlucky with how things worked for me. I tooked it twice and the next thing I know when I was about to reapply for retake, it says there that if I failed again I have to take remedial classes. It really crushed my heart. I know I am not dumb because studying Nursing is also hard and I surpassed that by graduating. I am in a lot of emotions:cry: right now but I am still on track. Trying to tell myself that it isnt the end of the world and that I have to this or else I will be so affected with the recession. Goodluck to all of us and pls dont lose HOPE! Keep that within our hearts!:heartbeat
i know for a fact that for me the 1st and 2nd time didn't put much effort, I studied in a very disorganize way from one book and another and another and never did any Qs. I know that the best is to stick to a material read it front to back and do a lot of qs. The whole point is to focus, study in a consistent manner, not to over kill yourself, set a study plan and believe we can do it. Pray for me I take the exam the 30th.
I did the same. The 1st and 2nd time I was disorganized, I studied from several resources. This time I have been doing Mosby's flash cards, I have just about finished the box but, I am a little skeptical about them since they seem too easy. I am considering doing Suzannes plan, and reschedule my test for the end of Jan. or by mid-February.
HI,
I will be a third time taker, just found out today i FAILED again. Had 265 questions this time.. 75q the first...
I am in NEW YORK STATE... Do they have a limit on the number of times you can resit????
I am hoping to go with Suzannes plan... not heard anything bad about it yet..
good luck to everyone

Hey eosaeni,:)
HI! First of all, I would like to let you know that you are not alone. I felt the exact same way as yourself. As I type you this message I want you to know that I'm testing for my 5th time tomorrow. GOD has had me on this very wild journey and I cannot tell you why but determination, motivation, and asking GOD to give me the strength to continue my studies has molded me and shaped me into the RN that I want to be. I have learned alot about myself and am very thankful to have gone through this journey. Please hang in there and may you ask GOD to give you the strength to continue your studies. YOU CAN DO THIS! YOU WILL DO THIS! PM me anytime if you just want to chat because I'll be there.:saint:We will ALL look back one day aas if it was one big dream after we are all RN'S.

Hey everyone. Im supposed to take my exam on January. My ITT number expires in the last week of January. Does anyone know how to extend it? I don't think im ready to take the test. My Board allows me to take the exam 3 times a year. Thanks
Hi koozy,:)
You brought up a very good question as far as extending your ATT. Depending on your state, you may have to check with the BON to see if it's even possible. When did you receive your ATT? I would suggest checking with your BON by calling them and asking if you may extend your ATT. GOOD LUCK and please let us know the answer to this question.:redpinkhe

I have taken the NCLEX three times now. I'm still waiting for my results from my third try. It's comforting to know that there are other people going through the same thing. But at the same time, it's extremely frustrating! But I know, in time, we all make it. Good luck and don't give up. And like my mom always says, make sure to pray.

I feel the same way. Maybe it was test materials overkill? I too did Kaplan, NSCBN and Saunders. All I know is that I completely choked when I got to sit down and do the test. I hope the second (or third or fourth time) is a charm for us all! I'm planning on doing Suzanne's plan.
